Be careful out there people. As well as all the water around causing damage everywhere, if your power is out and you have overhead wires, take extra care when you go outside.

Power out means there could be live cables down near you!

I’m grateful that, so far, I haven’t been one of these (Bowen Hills). Interestingly, my home (elsewhere in QLD) had a power outage for a few hours whilst power remained on for me.
