For those who are as confused as I was, she played the Vice President’s daughter. I would not have recognized her, she’s so young back then. She is in one scene in the entire movie and she has no lines.

TLDR: she was in IronMan 3 but they did not credit her and she didn't like that at all.

Fix: they did credit her, but not as the original, important character she was supposed to be. Her scenes were mostly cut and she ended up as a very minor "extra".

Looking it up, She played the vice president's daughter. The vice president wanted to use the extremis serum on his daughter to heal her lost leg.

Her part was almost entirely removed from the film apart from the minimum for the story and with no speaking lines, she's effectively an 11 year old extra in the final film. It's not surprising at all.

She IS credited as “Vice President’s daughter,” so I don’t understand what the drama is about. Maybe she auditioned for a bigger role and got snubbed. Or maybe she originally had a bigger presence in the movie and it was mostly cut out.

From the Iron Man 3 credits:

The quote in the article, I think, is that they "took [her] name out". I'm guessing it means the character's name. Seems like the character had a few scenes and lines and such that all go cut, so they cut the character's name, too.

It's the last bit, she was originally more important and ended up as an extra in the edition process.

It's not unusual. William Goldman, author of 'The Princess Bride' also wrote the screenplay for 'Maverick.' There was a major character, a magician played by Oscar winner Linda Hunt, that got cut out of the movie entirely because the director and editors felt their scenes just didn't work with the rest of the movie.
