Forget about growth. Forget investors. Forget about all those capitalist nonsense. What good are profits if everything goes to shit? The best thing about Lemmy is that it doesn't give a shit about that. It's decentralized and community driven. Capitalism prioritizes money not people.

have they resurrected that subreddit from 2016 era, name of which i will not repeat, but it was well fuck. i'm still not going to say it. it's not an "information hazard", it's a garbage sphere that accretes garbage

there were ton of reddit that were purged in 17ish when trump came into power, and at the same the gop was complaining about said subreddits.
