My husband found similar concept shirts at an artisan co-op in New Orleans. The shirts were 70s/80s vintage western style with snap closures. One had embroidered bigfoots inside the pointy areas in the shoulders and the other had skulls in sombreros. They're my favorite shirts of his.

What software are you using to digitize the art for the machine? I’ve been curious about using my library’s machine as well, but I’m not really sure which software is worth spending time learning.

Inkscape with the Ink-stitch extension. Mostly because it's the one I can afford. There's a learning curve but I was already learning it for my vinyl cutter designs and rpg maps.
