If everyone followed the "not your keys not your coins" method an FTX could not have happened. We no longer need an institution to hold money for us like we have for hundreds of years. Trying to use the old model banking in crypto will always lead to this outcome

When this news came to light there were so many weird views of it, and a loooot of misogynists came out of the woodwork to claim that they were "surprised" Taylor was smart enough to spot it.

In crypto myself, and FTX was always a little shady. I remember that video of him explaining a ponzi scheme live, and the moderator tried to steer him away from it and he basically said "No no this is what we're doing"
