Deleted my 13 year old account this morning as well. I'm sure the executives all have golden parachutes, so it doesn't matter if or when they fail. But they will fail.

Yeah I am changing all my comments and then deleting them all (submission/posts).

I'm deleting my 8 year old Reddit account. I'm done. I'm new to Lemmy, but I already like it more.
I'm not quite there yet but I'm sure the day will come.
Smaller communities make for more personal interaction. I quite love the fediverse. Mastodon is great too if you're into microblogging.
Thanks for the tip about Power Delete, Ive been meaning to dip into shreddit but didn't have a good setup for it. This one was painless.
