I'm not deleting, just abandoning. I had another person step up to mod the only community I was modding.

I didn't delete my account, but my local community and I have switched to Discord and Lemmy. I think I'm now spending more time on these two services than on Reddit.
Just deleted RiF in anticipation of the blackout. Ill check it again on the first of next month and if it doesn't exist or work ill be gone for good. Going to suck, mainly need to find a new source for news, possibly on youtube or here, just enough to be up to date.
Not yet. I will do so by the end of June.
I am going to wait until the blackout in two days I think. If reddit doesn't back down on their decision I am going to delete the app.
I don't plan on deleting my reddit accounts to be honest, I put way too much work in them, plus they have some saved posts that I really need and use as a reference from time to time. Also, there are some communities there that I don't believe will shift over here (for some, I am sure they won't, since they're other not that big amd moderation is not a problem for them), so I'll mostly be using Lemmy and Reddit interchangeably.
I value my content and the communities too much (despite its problems). I won't be deleting my account, and definitely not the content I posted.
I don't know yet what will happen to my usage and contribution level. Maybe it will only be on desktop PC from now on. We will see.
I'm debating it, but deleting content seems pretty much a lot of work.
I've been lurking on regularly cycled usernames, so that was pretty easily done. I haven't deleted Slide yet, but since it'll stop working on 30th, that's a given. I'm going to try my best to help build up the niche communities like hardware focused ones on lemmy
I won't delete my account, atleast not in the foreseeable future. Won't install the official app though and stop using reddit on mobile entirely. There's just so much resources and old content available on reddit, and a lot that I've saved, that's next to impossible to migrate anywhere. I'll keep my account for that, and just that so I can access it when I need to.
I have too much history on Reddit to want to delete my account, I just intend to use Lemmy instead going forward
I plan to, but I also plan to do it fully - going through saved links and bookmarking or documenting relevant recipes/guides/etc, removing all the comment history, etc etc.
I'm not really good at doing that in a timely manner. I have so many big projects, and smaller projects, that have been postponed for so long. It's just another thing on the list.
Migrating completely to a new platform is a process for me, especially if it's one I'm actively viewing content on. I still have my Reddit account but I suspect that will not be the case for much longer, as was the case with Twitter when I moved to Mastodon, and others.
Didn't delete my reddit account and probably won't. Just leaving it abandoned and lurk every once in a while.
I'll keep my reddit until Sync stop working.
I just decided to move here permanently myself.
I refuse to uninstall boost, and once I figure out how to delete all my posts, the I will be deleting my account.
I've deleted everything I posted/comment and my account yesterday. Granted Ive had already done this a couple years ago so this account wasn't that valuable.
I didn't delete it but I stop using it for now. I will hold for a few months to see how things develop and decide what to do next. I use Reddit mostly due to Developer communities (Android, Kotlin, etc) which doesn't seem to exist in Lemmy, yet.
I hope the communities migrate here with time but overall, I'm finding the servers a little confusing and the Android app has space to improve.
Not sure yet, a lot of subs haven't set up on Lemmy yet. Hoping that'll change after the blackout next week.
I am also hesitant to remove everthing. Maybe someone for example has the same question I once had. If Reddit holds on to their decisions I will probably delete the app though.
I was always a lurker on Reddit so I donβt have to worry about purging post or comment history. I literally just havenβt gotten around to deleting it yet. Iβll miss the more local niche communities, but theyβll show up here and in other places in time.
Just deleted it, I hope the future for the fediverse goes down right.
