Rice is unreal

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Easy win, was never worried

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I am sorry but Ramsdale has GOT to come back into the team.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That backwards punch at the end almost broke my brain

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Decent away performance but we need to do better in buildup.... Odegaard seriously out of form someone find his wand... Jesus motm.. Debut goal for martinelli... Rice and tomiyasu were solid

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Hopefully no one was playing “drink every time the commentator says damp night in Seville” because if they were, they’re dead.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Imagine if Raya scored that own goal in 94th minute, gunners would personally hunt him down

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Jesus obviously gets MOTM for his wonderful goal and even more wonderful assist but, its hard to overstate how good Saliba, Rice, and Tomi were that game.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Finally a win against Sevilla. Thank fuck

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Looks like Jorginho hasn't learned his lessons from Spurs and continues to do those stupid lazy back passes. Glad we won the game, needed this bad. Jesus MOTM, Rice excellent as always along with Tomi. Disappointing game from Odeegard imo, hope he's doing okay.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

fuck me Raya what was that mate

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Build Declan Rice a fucking statue

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Rice and Tomiyasu are just amazing.

Raya though. Bloody hell that last punch almost made me vomit. He had a pretty good game until that moment lmao

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Declan Rice easily man of the match!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

DECLAN RICE MONSTRO

He’s honestly just unbelievable

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Declan Rice is a joke man, West Ham I am so sorry for my club robbing yours because 105m should’ve gotten us about halfway there

Sevilla actually about to find a way to finish 3rd and win europa league again

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Brilliant away win in a country we've struggled for years. Martinelli, Jesus, Rice and Tomiyasu outstanding

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Gabriel Jesus. Declan Rice. Takehiro Tomiyasu. All of you take a fucking bow

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

3 men of the match tonight, they were all incredible.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Well what do you know. A PL team won away against Sevilla.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Arsenal definitely getting out of the group

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

First 5 minutes of the game: Wow Sevilla have an amazing atmosphere, proper european team and will be fun to watch veterans like Ramos and Navas after all these years.

Mins 5-90 - Fucking sangria Stoke. Acuña is a crying, whiney neckless rat cunt and I hope someone shoves that fan's megaphone up Ramos' arse.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (7 children)

I mean, we couldn't really have complained if we'd drawn that. Let Sevilla back into it with some really poor set-piece defending (why we're so bad at that I don't know, we were one of the best teams in the country for it two years ago) and completely outplayed for about 40 minutes after that.

Raya needs to fuck off, where I don't care, he's the most unwarranted usurper of a regular starting place we've had in years. Odegaard has been well off it since the new deal and I would be happy for him to be benched on Saturday for a rest. Won't happen cause Arteta won't drop anyone unless they're physically unable to play but if we can't beat Sheffield United without him we don't deserve to win anything.

But it was two of the best goals we've scored all season, we got it over the line and we're top of the group now so I'll take it. Rice was Rice, and that was Jesus' best game in a while.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Your own arguments contradict each other my man, Raya is only playing cause Ramsdale was dropped, so how doea Arteta nevers drops anyone? Also, a draw would be unfair imo, Arsenal was much better over the game, Sevilla pressed and had some good chances after the goal, but overall Arsenal deserved the win.

David Raya nearly giving me a heart attack at the end there

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

No wat Raya is better than Ramsdale. At least not far enough that the latter should have lost his starting spot.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Far from comfortable but we take it away win in Spain against a very good team at home we move on. Good news the other game in group was a draw.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

PSV are doing God's work for us lmao we can guarantee first spot by winning the next two thanks to all their draws

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm unsure of Odegaard in this team. He was brilliant last season, he has great work rate OOP but I still feel he's limited in the final third. His xG overperformance is now coming back to baseline and I feel Arsenal could cash in on him

Would Arsenal fans take 80m+ for Odegaard?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

what kind of a stupid comment is this. have you heard of something called form?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Tomiyasu has been unreal this season, surely has to start every game from here on out

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Zinny still offers something different but Tomi locks down that left flank like no other. Massive performance today along with Rice. Seems like they were both everywhere tonight.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Why no Suso😢

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Declan Rice has been world class for well over a year, maybe two, but at least now he's doing in the CL people will finally get it

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Arsenal fans during that last 15 mins: " I don't usually get nervous but I was starting to get a little shaky, I was like woah..."

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don't usually get nervous

You've already gone wrong, we are never anything but nervous. This team has broken us.

I love you Eddie, wish you were better at football though

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Tomiyasu, what a player. I feel like only Arsenal fans and Japanese fans understand how good this guy really is.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Salah understands too

Tomiyasu is the better option in that inverting role than Zinchenko in big games. Doing less is more in this case. Tomiyasu knows the purpose of inverting is to help the midfielders not replace them. Zinchenko always tries to be the focal point of our buildup and it’s always a sign of arsenal playing poorly if he’s seeing too much of the ball. It backfires easily as well because he overestimates his ability on the ball and dawdles in possession and ends up losing it cheaply or playing a shit pass. Tomiyasu knows his limits, keeps it simple, and moves the ball quicker. Plus him and Zinchenko is like heaven and hell in terms of defensive ability.

I swear if Sevilla drop down to EL for one last run.. I'll stop watching footy for good

Rice is a top 3 #6 in the world yet he's showing signs of being a top #8 too. Arteta is giving him all the chances to do so and he's running away with it

Unreal

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Absolutely. The guy was orchestrating everywhere.
