Chris Matthews. Had the onside kick, played the game of his life in the Super Bowl, and then dipped.

As a Bucs fan I thought we found a hidden gem in Jacquies Smith back in 2014 and that he’d be the cornerstone of our defense for years.

David Johnson anyone?

Shaun Alexander stands out to me as a Seahawks fan as someone who (at the time) went from seemingly one of the best ever to injured and ineffective and quickly out of the league. In hindsight I think he was probably kinda overrated, but it’s still a sharp decline.

Titus Young from the lions. Was a top 50 pick and really promising most of his rookie year and then was arrested twice IN THE SAME DAY

Chris Chambers.

A guy that I don’t ever think gets brought up is David Johnson. Dude was the best running back in the league in 2016, and then never had another great year for the rest of his career.

Matt Jones. Converted from QB to WR and looked promising, but then poof 💨

Any Broncos RB from the 2000s

Sean Lee. He was like having a second defensive coordinator on the field and had all the heart you could want out of a guy. I’m still sad his career never really took off due to injuries.

David Wilson. Was fun to watch his rookie year

Demarcus Van Dyke. Fabian Washington. Stanford Routt. My 99 speed DB team

Kenny Golladay. I know what happened to him but he still went from being nicknamed Babytron to not playing in NFL games in one year

Justin Blackmon

Jarvis Jones

Josh Gordon.

The man couldn't stop smoking the ganja but had an incredible season in 2012/2013ish that resulted in half the league taking a chance on him and trying to wait out his suspensions.

Trent Richardson - apart of two BCS nattys and considered the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson. Might be one of the biggest busts of all time !!

people don’t talk about how quickly a rob went from wr1 to forgotten. He’s only 30

This thread is just a list of guys that helped you win fantasy football several years ago.

Malcolm Mitchell

Dude was so good for the pats for a little while, then disappeared off the face of the earth. The current WR group is making me miss anybody who could catch…

I still remember a hot minute when it looked like the Chiefs had plucked an all-pro corner from the 49ers with Marcus Cooper. Monster first year with the team then never heard from again.

49ers: Chris Borland, Glen Coffee, Kentwan Balmer, Anthony Davis. Aldon Smith would have been on it if not for that insane comeback with Cowboys a few years ago. Trent Baalke sure drafted some weirdos.

Noel Devine always gives me a laugh every time he pops up in my head.

Some Oregon legends. Dennis Dixon, Jeremiah Masoli, De’Anthony Thomas, LaMichael James. I’m surprised Darron Thomas never played in NFL?

There was a guy named Tom Bradley or something, QB from Michigan … or Brady Thomas? Can’t quite recall. I think NE drafted him in 6th round. What ever happened to him?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Real ones will remember Kendall Hinton

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

BJ Raji. IIRC, he took a hiatus and never came back?
