Robbie Savage is like that guy at the afters who won't shut up and even he has no idea what he's talking about
Football / Soccer / Calcio / Futebol / Fußball
Man utd feels more dynamic without Antony. And I’m biased cause I like gargantuan I think he’s one of the best prospects out there
Close proximity is not a thing the cl?
Seems to be an incident in the stands with the medics going over the pitch
Wan bissaka falls asleep and gets punished frequently by those kinds of passes
From what I understand Hojlund was barely a promising talent at Copenhagen and it was only when he joined Sturm that he kicked on
Why didn’t it work for him there?
That's complete bollocks. It's not dangerous or even reckless. There's no intent at all.
Football is a contact sport. There will occasionally be accidents. A burden of proof for intent or recklessness has to be met for foul play. That is just not a red card.
If you want VAR to be taken seriously, maybe don't send the ref over to a screen where it's on a fucking freeze frame of the initial contact.
How many games is that out?
We must be the worst team on earth at defending with 10 men
Just put your foot in the way of someone planting their leg and you'll get them sent off
Poor Højlund, man's finally hit a bit of form, scored a brave, on a hatrick and suddenly his team implodes behind him.
United are such sore losers aren't they? Every time they lose, they blame the referee
I know they're not playing at home but goddamn, the Old Trafford -> Gym Pipeline is real.
Proper unlucky they were in control, I don’t think they’ve got enough in them right now to dig in well
I'm rioting if that's not a pen.
Football is becoming a non contact sport
I don't know how this is controversial? He stepped across to protect the ball but landed square on the ankle. Obviously he didn't mean it, but it's clearly dangerous. Can someone tell me what I've missed?
Man Utd are the most entertaining team in the champions league by a mile
Why does Roony Bardghji doesn’t play? Is he not good enough yet? Was a beast in my FM23 save.
The tackle was not intentional clearly, but could have been very serious hence the red
No no no please don’t do something to sack my boy Ten Haag
Post interview ETH: I am confident in myself and the team. Everyone performed as exactly as I want. We are positive
Rashford to the nightclub confirmed
Amrabat is geniunely shocking. We're paying 10 million as a loan fee for him...
Nah not a pen would never get given the other way round
I've literally no idea what United have to do at this point
Has to be a pen if they're keeping it consistent
If the first one was given this one has to be given
Well if they are consistent, that's a pen. Idk tho
Handball rule in football is the stupidest thing. Why should a header going nowhere be a guaranteed goal just because it touched someone's arm
Bro this defence
Rough game for united fans
United's fall is incredible, it's like watching a porn star going from cheerleader to milf but being ran over by a school bus in-between.
Just sack him before the whistle
I don't think that's a red but in the week Maeda's challenge yesterday was a red it is. There was no intent and it wasn't dangerous play. It was just unfortunate.
Harsh red tbh
13 fucking minutes lol I'd be fuming if I was EtH.
Completely falling out of love with the sport. The referee is the main character every match.
Football Twitter acting like Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher are the funniest thing since Richard Pryor's stand-up has done irreparable damage to punditry.
Think they'll give this but it's harsh
Now watch us blow the lead within 5 minutes.
Happy to see United fans agreeing with the harsh penalty decision.
This guy is looking like a prem ref
What was that shithousery of a goal
No way
I feel like every thing where things like that happen once or twice a game in every game and is never called.
Is suddenly being called against us every time.
Can't believe Klopp is so effective in his remarks that he not only influenced Prem refs but also CL refs to conspire against the mighty United!
Why are the commentators so fixated on intent? You can definitely get sent off without intending to make a dangerous tackle
Rashford obviously didn’t intend to do that, but the argument against his red is that he’s literally already putting his foot down as the Copenhagen player gets his leg in the way
Not every team could play good a man down 😎
