Buck and Aikman have been a team for 22 years now. They have exceeded the tenure of the legendary pairing of Pat Summerall and John Madden.

I always love hearing Troy slowly die inside whenever the Cowboys lose to an idiotic mistake and Joe scorning the game if it's a blowout.

I don’t think he gives a shit about the Cowboys. After they fired Jimmy, the offensive lines that Jerry put together probably shortened his life expectancy.

Troy has to really really try to hold himself back from saying they'll never win with Jerry Jones

Thanks for making me feel old!

i like them. they seem like good bros. professional enough to cover when they need to and also sometimes saying real shit.

Can we talk about how insufferable Charles Davis is while we’re talking about announcers?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Don’t mind these two

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Buck and aikman aka bad and worse

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Twenty-two years? I didn't even know Aikman had been retired that long.

Analysts can only handle Collinsworth for so long. Then they bounce.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Uhm, he is the analyst. Did you p-b-p announcers

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

My bad. Never really thought his constant verbal diarrhea nonsense fell into the category of analysis.

It's crazy to think that a whole generation of fans hear Buck and Aikman as the sound of football the same way I hear Summerall and Madden.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Madden & Summerall still best

Give me drunk Howard Cosell and Dandy Don Meredith!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Also the best crew in nfl history

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Does anyone remember

"We will see you... tomorrow night"

That's one of my favorites of his

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I am so damn old.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Have never been a big fan…. They are better than some but for some odd reason they bug me

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I really like Aikman. As an Eagles fan, it’s always been tough, but I respect him. That being said I think all those hits are taking a toll on Troy, mentally. He’s been slipping lately. Joe Buck can go eat a bag of dicks though.

Remember when Artie Lange destroyed Buck in his own show?

A monument to mediocrity.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

As opposed to Romo who I think has gotten significantly worse as he started to care less, Aikman has gotten so much better now that he cares less. He’s less afraid to criticize QBs who are struggling (even when it’s the star QBs), which in turn makes his praises that much more poignant. That’s not to say it’s super blatant—he is still a media personality, after all—but it’s way more than others, which is nice.

These guys are professionals that have good enough personalities to mage it work. Probably the best two in football right now

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I call him Buck Joe. My dad hated his dad and called him Buck Jack. He was the announcer for the St Louis Football Cardinals. Cowboys had a player named Pettis Norman that Buck always called Norman Pettis. Then he had that cringy “Looky there” call. Aikman is a monotone moron. , HE ran a curl route. , HE should have caught that. I was taught not to do that in elementary school and it drives me crazy. Equivalent to “We was going.”

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I can tell. I seen Buck give Aikmen the long pause and fuck me eyes last game.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Now here's a guy that really talks football

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

And also the worst

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Worst as well

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

They are one of my favorite broadcasters.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

And they are the best in the biz

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Surprised to see all the love. I hate these 2

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

DIGGS

SIDELINE

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Honestly, I like them a lot. I chuckled when Aikman said sarcastically "My Texas Rangers" and Buck was like "Huh, now they're your rangers? Name me 10 players of that team. Your rangers...".^^

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I never hated Joe Buck, but I will say this commentary has gotten so bad but slowly we all wish Buck and Aikman would call more games.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Is Buck jealous over Aikman's comments about Robert Saleh?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Buck is as cool as ever. Aikman is as drunk as ever. They’ve really grown on me, but it seems crazy they’re the longest tenured pair….
