The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said Sunday that an Israeli strike on its headquarters in Khan Younis, Gaza, killed at least one staff member and wounded three others. The attack comes two days after US envoy Steve Witkoff visited a US-backed aid station in Gaza to assess food distribution efforts in the war-torn enclave.

A Ukrainian lawmaker and a pair of local officials, as well as an unspecified number of National Guard personnel, have been caught in a major graft scheme that involved using state funds to buy drones and other military hardware at deliberately inflated prices in return for bribes, the country's anti-corruption agencies said Saturday. The amount of humanitarian aid that Israel is allowing to enter the besieged Gaza Strip is "very insufficient", the German government said Saturday, noting "limited initial progress" in getting more aid into the enclave. Israel's army chief of staff said Friday that "combat will continue without rest" in the Gaza Strip if negotiations fail to quickly secure the release of hostages held in the Palestinian enclave.
