Remember when the internet felt like a giant treasure hunt instead of just… cycling through the same five apps? Yeah, me too. That’s why I started COI (Corners of Internet)—a place where I dig up weird, fun, and happy corners of the web so you don’t have to.

No algorithms. No doomscrolling. Just pure internet exploration.

If it’s cool, underrated, or a little unhinged, it goes on COI.

Check it out: www.cornersofinternet.com

Also, if you’ve got a favorite weird site, drop it below! I’m always looking for new rabbit holes to fall into.

Discover micro-interactions, easter eggs, and other seemingly extra design details that infuse life, personality, and fun back into the web.

A few I got:

The expanse of your intelligence is a void no universe could ever fill.

I love your eyes, but only with ketchup.

I don't know if this website has already been posted here, but I love it so much. I've spent hours reading the reviews and the fights in the comments, everything about this is pure gold.

Hi HN, Wanted to share a project I made over the weekend - a real-time fascism tracker. The site fetches recent news from trusted sources, filters it for keywords related to fascism and the current US administration, and then sends it to GPT-4o for classification according to the 14 characteristics of fascism described by Dr. Lawrence Britt. With the rapid pace of news in the US, especially post-election, it’s hard to keep up. I built this site so you can quickly see important topics and draw parallels with similar historical events. Would love to hear your thoughts. - Ryan
