This is my first Street Fighter and also first serious fighting game. I've been grinding from rookie all the way to silver with several characters. I started playing Rashid yesterday morning, learned the basics, and then did my placement matches last night. To my surprise, I placed in Gold 1! That was my long term goal until now. I've since gotten him to Gold 4. I know that matchup inexperience helped me, but it's still exciting to progress.

It's been a little over 2 weeks since the poll was created, so here's the end results. A decent number of people submitted responses, and the compiled list seems to reflect most players' opinions of the game pretty well. The end results are as follows:

A Tier: Luke, Ken, Juri, Guile, Dee Jay, Cammy, JP
B Tier: Blanka, Marisa, Chun-Li, E Honda, Manon
C Tier: Ryu, Kimberly, Dhalsim, Jamie, Zangief, Lily
