Hey all, going to be staying in Calgary for this week (Monday - Saturday) and hoped to get some restaurant recommendations from the locals! I really enjoy middle-eastern and Asian cuisine, but I'm open to anything, as is my wife. We're going to be downtown in a friend's house if that matters.

A grassroots group of Calgarians has put forth an online petition in an effort to prevent the city from eliminating the Third Avenue South cycle track downtown, which is slated for removal in the fall.

A Calgary developer is looking to redevelop the building on the corner of 10th St NW and Memorial Drive, a well known location and the former site of Julio's Barrio.

Does anyone have pro tips to get Telus to actually install fiber to the home when it's present in the alley? I can see the lines 20 feet from my window, and the building across the alley is hooked up. When I call Telus, they say it's not available, then they put in a ticket to ask the back office, and again it's "not available".
