If you share my approach, you prefer to thoroughly research cryptocurrency projects before investing. However, whitepapers can be excessively verbose and often contain superfluous details that tend to complicate the understanding.

I've created a custom GPT on chatgpt that provides a consistent, structured response and an overall score when you upload a PDF whitepaper.

Give it a go yourself, just upload a PDF and hit go.

Restaking is a relatively new concept in the cryptocurrency world that allows users to stake their existing crypto assets, like Ethereum (ETH), on multiple platforms simultaneously. This effectively amplifies the trust and security provided by these assets across various blockchain networks.

Imagine you've staked your Ethereum (ETH) to help secure the Ethereum network. With restaking, you can take that same staked ETH and use it to also secure another blockchain protocol, like a DeFi platform or a sidechain. This effectively lets you "double-dip" on your staking rewards, potentially earning more income while contributing to the security of multiple ecosystems.

EigenLayer is a protocol built on top of Ethereum that introduces restaking. It enables existing Ethereum validators, who have already staked their ETH, to "re-task" their stake and provide security for other applications built on the platform. Think of it as a marketplace where protocols needing security can "rent" the validation power of Ethereum stakers.

I have some LDO and AAVE that I hold on Binance, along a few others, and I'm in the proccess of moving everything out to an external wallet (exodus)

I don't have much in those coins so every decimal counts, to transfer LDO I can only use ECR20, so this means $24ish in fees, and for AAVE, it supports BEP20, but the exodus wallet don't so I'm stuck with another $24ish in fees using ECR20 network

Those are just a few examples of coins what will suffer the same "loss" if buying on an exchange and holding in a wallet

Is there an alternative to have a portifolio of multiple coins in my own wallet?

How can I go on buying $100 monthly on the exchange and then only have $75ish when tranfering it out, what is the alternative?

I read alot of post here and it seems to me that most people hate on Cardano. Is it because Cardano is a threat to their bag holdings or they think the project is trash. After my DYOR, do your own research. I discovered that Cardano is moving forward with great tech and innovation. It is in the top ten crypto projects at #8 following Bitcoin and Etherium. Cardano has been in the top ten for a very long time and will probably be in the top 5 this next bull market. The project is solid. The only problem I see is that the marketing is horrible. Hoskins himself said they don't want hype moon boy price action. They want steady organic growth which I think is excellent in the long run. Building something to last over time. My opinion is Cardano could do what Solana did in 2021 if this cycle is as big as people predict. I won't give the tech reasons why I like Cardano but that is easy enough to find out. Not financial advice, just an opinion.

This might be a bit of a controversial discussion but thats what we're here for right?

So I'm into Crypto since 2017 and i've seen many different communities of different projects. Now I'd be interested in your opinion, which project specific community do you like the most and why? And which one do you not like?

no shilling, i am only here to see what communities you had good experience with and which one I like

For me personally I was surprised when I met the community of ERGO. Not many communities with such a low toxicity level and such a great knowledge. Might be because it's still a low MC and not as popular as others. I also feel that most posts are quite interesting and not "when to the moon" or "should I buy now or wait for the dip" kind of discussions.

Let me hear your experiences!

BNB or BUSD in USA

Anyone know a great place to buy BNB or BUSD in the USA?

I’ve tried bridges but ETH gas fee is ridiculously high when doing that method.

No shady sites please lol

Trying to invest in some coins like GameFi or RWA on the BNB chain. This is my first time looking into BNB. Mostly stayed on ETH and ADA but trying to branch out to other blockchains.

Seems like a lot of the GameFi and RWA I am interested in are on BNB. I’ve tried researching but seems like the info I find is outdated not sure if it’s due to the Binance Fiasco that happened a couple months ago.

Any help appreciated.

You can also shill me some coins if you’d like. I like comparing lol

Thank you.

Hello everybody,

Yesterday I did a first time cash deposit on kraken, and now my bank account is blocked. Kraken uses plaid for the bank services and the transfer can take up to 3 days. It is not yet depossited on kraken but I have patience to wait 3 days ofc. The weird thing is why my bank account is blocked, it says a request was made to transfer €400.000, while I requested €5000, which is the amount actually written of now. My question is has anybody had some simular or other weird experience with plaid?

I want to maximize my trading and make my IPhone/Apple Watch (series 8) as efficient as possible when it comes to getting the latest information regarding crypto news and projects as well as possible charts and price alerts on my Apple Watch. I currently have…

CoinMarketCap, Trading View, Crypto News, Crypto Pro and the obvious which are exchanges and wallets.

I was hoping if anyone has an optimized setup for how they keep up to date as possible and where you find your information from the fastest. I’m assuming people use Twitter as well but was hoping to get others insight as I don’t see too many people chatting about their phone layout as much.

I’m genuinely curious on what people’s thoughts are on what projects like Babylon chain are doing?

For those not familiar with it it’s similar to what EigenLayer is doing except with Bitcoin.

Also been reading up on the Bitcoin VM and I’m honestly started to get interested in Bitcoin again. I wrote the Bitcoin Network off a while ago since they seemed to be determined on never changing and just sticking to the store of value mission. Which honestly I don’t think was a bad call for them since even if the big blockers would have won back in the day it wouldn’t have kept up with what PoS networks are doing now.

But the idea that Babylon chain is pursuing is quite incredible to me. It’s turning Bitcoin into a yield bearing asset!!

So basically the idea is a proof of stake network instead of just using its native token for staking can now use Bitcoin as the collateral to stake to secure the network.

This has a lot of benefits for smaller chains since it can free up more liquidity instead of having it tied up in staking to secure the network.

Imagine a hard asset like Gold if you could use it to mine silver or copper with? That’s kind of what this is doing.

Obviously you get rewarded in the native token of the network you’re staking on and not Bitcoin but that’s still an incredible deal since you’re generating yield with what otherwise would be a stagnant asset.

The Bitcoin stays on the Bitcoin network too so you don’t have to worry about bridging either.

It’s not without zero risk though, but this idea of turning a gold like hard money like Bitcoin into bond like yield bearing asset is blowing my mind.

Is anyone else excited for ideas like this? EigenLayer looks incredible too.
