The new Manta Pacific chain is ALL over Twitter. They currently have amassed more than $500,000,000 in TVL by hyping the entire crypto space. I bet you've seen the requirements:

  1. You can bridge and deposit ETH or USDC to earn yield and Box Pieces. The deposit period is open until January 2024 (the exact date is not known yet, but you don't have much time left)
  2. You will receive STONE and wUSDM within 24 hours on Manta Pacific L2. You can claim MANTA token rewards with NFTs until Jan 2024 before the deposit period ends.
  3. After 69 days of MANTA token rewards distributed, you can withdraw ETH and USDC back from STONE and wUSDM.

Aaaaanyway, if you've already done that ... what to do now? After receiving your STONE and wUSDM, you can use them in DeFi to acquire more rewards!

Here are some DeFi plays on Manta:

  • DEX: (highest rewards and most attractive IMO)
    • 405% APR on wETH/STONE with QuickSwap
    • 110% APR on USDC/wUSDM with QuickSwap
  • Lending:
    • 5.1% APR on wUSDM with LayerBank
    • 4.9% with Shoebill Finance

Participating in a campaign that's been funded by major players in the industry, while earning massive APRs is a win-win situation in my view. People's excitement all over Twitter confirms my POV.

I hope this post has been helpful! Thank you for reading.

As I've been immersing myself more into the fascinating realm of blockchain, it's sparked some captivating discussions.

Recently, I found myself in a conversation with a friend, pondering the profound impact blockchain could have on various industries. This got me thinking, and now I'm eager to extend the conversation to all of you: considering the evolving landscape of technology, which specific industries do you anticipate will experience the most significant advantages from widespread blockchain adoption in the near future?

Whether it's the healthcare sector, financial services, or perhaps even unexpected fields, I'm genuinely intrigued to delve into your perspectives and predictions on how blockchain might shape and redefine our various industries.

Along time ago in 17 I sent some Tron to my ledger wallet and thought bc it was erc-20 that it would appear in my wallet. How can I recover it? I've been out of there ecosystem for a while so I don't even know if they still are an erc-20 token.

IGNORE THE REST. Just copying again to meet 500 character:

Gary dislikes crypto. The easiest way to crash the market would be very easy for him...he could just deny the ETF in the last minute.

After all the hype and pumps, the market would be shocked about a sudden ETF denial. A crash would follow which would make Gary very pleased.

So could he just do it on his own or are there other factors about the approval which he cannot control on his on behalf?

If we try to imagine us as anti crypto super villian, he easiest way to hurt crypto market is by simply saying "NO" to the ETF.

And if anything goes south personally for him, he could say "YES" later anyways? Am I thinking too simple or what are the obstacles?

the only thing that keeps me from doing this is Tether.

We all have learned (the hard way, for some) that this industry is filled with so many bad actors.

I don't think I need to recite all those names that have been putting in jail or those that are in the process during these last couple of years. Not to mention daily hack/exploited.

The fact that BTC mostly trade against USDT really make me uncomfortable. I am not here for FUDing Tether, it has been receiving it fair share of FUD from a lot of people already.

I am here to ask how you guys who allocate a significant portion of your net worth in BTC cope with the thought of USDT might one day reveal that they only 50% or less to back their USDT issuance? Does this not bother you at all? or just simply the thought 1 BTC = 1 BTC nothing else matter?

So my boomer dad is feeling the fomo. He’s read a bunch of stories about people making millions from alts and bitcoin etc and wants to make one big move into this ETF approval phase.

I think it’s pretty reckless, but he’s got some money and doesn’t really use it. Wants to make a $500k bet. I told him- just buy bitcoin and some ETH, maybe I’ll set up some rocket pool nodes and hold. But he wants alt action.

I guess he’s seen the kind of run SOL has been on and saw something about people making money on Doge and on all those DeFi ponzis…

How would you guys play it?

I get the Ethereum and Solana hype, they have real use-cases with real world applications but what about so many other Layer1's and Layer2's that have billions of dollars flowing in their eco-system but don't have any real applications to show for.

Honestly, I get that blockchains like Cardano, Algorand, ICP, Polkadot, Celo, Vechain etc. were built with amazing concepts and stuff but how do you actually see all these blockchains running real world use-cases and applications? I don't think so..

Personally, I would love to see all those projects succeed. I would like to see how they adapt to different industries and use cases. One factor that I consider to be of great importance is the 'Gas Fee'. One of the main factors of Ethereum being under-hyped is the high gas fee on mainnet. This gave room to other similar blockchains to gain hype and prosper.

When it comes to real-world use-case, i think XRP can be a ring leader here. If it gets accepted and adopted, it will definitely make room for the industry to grow exponentially.
