On Binance, specifically in BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT, it seems there are a bot (or bots) operating but I cannot comprehend what they are doing.

The behaviour I see is that there will always be medium-size buy wall and sell wall at 1-cent apart. For example, $180k buy wall and $262k sell wall at $42526.76 and $42526.75 respectively as in the picture. The walls keep moving but they will always be 1-cent apart.

I remember I notice it long before but I am not sure as I didn't take any screenshot back then, so I am not sure if this is constantly happenning or not, but I remember seeing this since BTC reached 40k.

It would be appreciated if anyone could shed some light on this.

Chang hard fork is a pivotal aspect of the strategic roadmap, designed to kickstart the Cardano governance model's bootstrapping period. In a departure from traditional governance structures, the hard fork introduces a consensus mechanism that empowers ADA holders to actively shape the network's trajectory.

The transition to the Voltaire era, outlined in the CIP-1694 proposal, signals Cardano's commitment to achieving full community governance in 2024, featuring workshops, conventions and voting events.

Beyond governance, Cardano's 2024 agenda includes plans for increased tokenization, providing a fertile ground for decentralized applications in the DeFi and NFT spheres and more. Notably, Cardano's unique approach allows token issuance without the necessity of smart contracts, simplifying entry for brands and creators into the Web3 space.

Additionally, Cardano aims to bolster third-party dApp development and enhance interoperability with other blockchain ecosystems, reinforcing its commitment to collaborative innovation.

I was given a thumb drive and was told there may be crypto on it. When I plugged it in computer it doesn’t recognize the files. The drive was pulled from a mining rig after the owner had passed and was given to me. I have zero experience in this type of thing. Is it possible that there is something on it? Also I was told it was pulled while it was on because it didn’t have a screen and they didn’t know how to turn the mining rig off. They think he was mining ethereum.

I'm based in the UK, and I've just discovered, by trying to transfer LTC from a Cex to another Cex, that I can't anymore, because of the recent Travel Rule. Only transfers to non-custodial wallets and transfers of ERC-20 and BTC are allowed.

My question is: why is that? Why can we now only transfer ERC-20 and BTC from Cex to Cex? How is that restriction helping to fight crime and money-laundering? What was the idea behind this? How is blocking those but allowing me to transfer to a hardware wallet help in any way?

Bitcoin (BTC) is expected to correct to as low as $32,000 next month following the potential approval of a spot ETF, according to data provider CryptoQuant. In what is being described as a potential "sell the news" event, CryptoQuant said in a note to CoinDesk that trader's unrealized profits are currently lingering at a level that historically precedes a correction.

"Sell the news" is a well-known term in capital markets, it describes how asset prices, leverage and sentiment run up in the lead up to a bullish event only for prices to tumble shortly after.

This is because astute traders capitalize on the over-crowded long trade, trapping those with leverage and forcing them to close or get liquidated as price goes against them. An ETF being approved is perceived as a bullish event as it will open up inflows to bitcoin from institutions, thus creating consistent buy pressure. "Short term Bitcoin holders are experiencing high unrealized profit margins of 30%, which historically has preceded price corrections (red circles)," CryptoQuant wrote in the note. "Moreover, short term holders are still spending Bitcoin at a profit, while rallies usually come after short-term losses are realized." CryptoQuant added that bitcoin price may decline to as low as $32,000, which is the the short-term holder realized price. Capriole Investments said that "conservative portfolio management" makes sense in the lead up to the potential approval of a spot ETF. "With Bitcoin up over 60% since ETF mania began a few months ago, and with every man and his dog on X.com expecting an approval on or around 10 January, we must start to anticipate much larger volatility events (up/down) in this region. Risk today is substantially higher for long Bitcoin positions than it was just a few weeks ago," Capriole wrote in a blog post. In bitcoin's history, "sell the news" events are common, in 2017 BTC topped out at $20,000 after the CME listed BTC futures, and in 2021 the world's largest cryptocurrency peaked again, hitting $65,000 after Coinbase completed its IPO before losing ground in the following months. Bitcoin is currently trading at $42,450 having began the year at $16,000. Daily trading volume remains steady at $80 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.

Hi, I know I will get a lot of flack for being a holder of this token… believe me I wish I would have done so much differently. Unfortunately, I held onto this for 2.5 years and lost a lot of money doing so.

But anyway I recently swapped all of my SFM tokens for BNB a few weeks ago on Trustwallet.

My question is, can I deduct this loss on my taxes for 2023, or is it only taxable when I sell the BNB for USD?

I suppose that this question can also pertain to any coin on the BNB blockchain as well

I use Koinly but they recently changed their login process and I can’t login right now (they deactivated Coinbase linking for logins argh).

Appreciate any and all help. Thanks again

This seems like a very high rate - I understand USDT has not got the greatest reputation but fact remains that it is inherently tied in with crypto at this stage and if it was to go under, crypto as a whole would dip like crazy anyway. Is there anything I’m missing here to explain the high interest rate with flexible terms? I wouldn’t be keeping a lot as USDT but putting in a few hundred with almost 20% return sounds nice. Most other crypto’s have a significantly lower rate, especially other stablecoins/btc/eth

Sry guys I am pretty new. I have about 20 k in btc ltc ETH and solana

My question is what exactly is meant with trading with cryptos.

I used kraken bitpanda and exodus.

Converting and selling cryptos is pretty expensive. You lose about 2 3 % when you exchange. For example if you convert your btc into tether after it went up and you want to have a stable coin.

So my question ist how is it even worth it or possible to really trade with crypto on crypto wallets when you always pay 3 % fees. Seems like it would be only worth of you stay with it longer and earn 10 % +

Is there a way to pay lower fees?

The only way I be seen is to buy crypto on something like trade Republic where you only buy the value of the key and also don't pay big fees when you sell.

Hope you guys can help me out
