IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY when the bull run hits, and Solana is $150+, the new guys coming in aren't going to look at your VET which is hundreds of coins down the list. They're going to look at SOL, AVAX, ATOM, ETH, BTC. The big boys with cool names! The meme coins are a complete toss up, BONK is the fastest growing. But for the rest of it play your cards right. I loved LRC, thought it was next up. It's not! IMX is doing everything LRC wants to do but better. And I don't mean the tech, I mean the ability to make you money. Stop investing for the tech, because you're here for the money. Anyone who cares about the tech is getting a computer science degree, and lets be honest you're a business major at best. Truth is if you're in it for the tech you shouldn't own any crypto besides Monero because you can always follow the development of tech without being a player in the money game.

TL;DR popular coins will make you money, your $MINA aint doing shit.

I've been buying crypto for a few years, mostly BTC and the big Alts. I would like to get into a few more Alts, but I don't have a lot of time to research new projects, track price movements etc. So I'm wondering if there are any of the subscription based "expert" groups that are actually worth the money?

I'm not looking to day trade or anything like that, but basically looking to get tips on new projects, market updates, entry/exit opinions etc.

I have been looking at the Paul Barron Mastermind Group or the Birb Nest as I enjoy their free content, but would love to hear what you guys think and if you have any suggestions.

I know that the best way is to do my own research and all that and I will still be doing that as much as possible, but as I'm very busy I'm just wondering if it's worthwhile paying for access to some of these "experts"?

And please don't DM me with all your BS, you will just be blocked.

Looking at growth appreciation historically...

If your looking at growth ratio between BTC and SOL since September it's roughly 1:4

This would suggest that if BTC hit 100k Sol would be north of 700$

I'm fully aware that this is bone head TA

but historically how well do these types of ratios sustain themselves throughout the course of a bull market?

just wonderin...

(Character number requirements)

just yapping no need to read

I know that all the hopium gets shit on in this sub and for good reason so don't take it as that. I'm just wondering if these ratios sustain themselves in any meaning full way.

(yes I am a sol maxi)

bought at 30!

I wish I had more patience. I put money aside waiting for a good dip, maybe 15 to 20 percent but its not happening. I’m not complaining because my crypto is doing great, I just feel like when I have funds I have to spend them right away. how do you guys have the patience to wait for a dip? on another note Helium Mobile is going through the Roof, is this goimg to be the next HNT? will it make it to a dollar? I got lucky and bought some Mobile and some HNT. Those plus DIMO are my surprised gainers. SOL, ATOM, AVAX, are just good solid investments. Listening to Guns and Roses Patience right now.

Im sorry for asking this, and I know that it is probably a very stupid question but I’m new to crypto and my mate was telling me the other day that he likes to exchange a few coins of his ETH into smaller crypto like Solana, then he checks on it throughout the day and when the Solana has gone up a few dollars in value he converts it back into ETH and essentially makes free ETH. I was kinda impressed with this and wanted to know if this is just another variation or way of day trading, or if it’s is called something else.

Original essence of Blockchain was permission less, 100% decentralized (someone should be able to setup a node in a PC), fully secure, and fairly scalable.

Why are modern L1 nodes hosted in AWS , GCP and so on? Where are we heading with this?

Why are the most L1 mining, validators hijacked by powerful company instead of individuals running things on their PC or personal devices?

I also saw someone put GPU offering Blockchain by buying powerful enterprise scale NVDIA processors?

If things are getting so centralized, why not use Cloud services, High Availability, Multi-AZ, with DR?

What are some truly decentralized Blockchain that are in existence? Is there any community that cares less about getting rich quick, but build something of true essence?

I’m in the Loopring wallet and i wanted to stake my Ethereum so i go and check my options and see something that looks too good to be true honestly, so I’m curious to see if anyone else is using this staking method. Loopring supports Lido and Rocketpool staking and they offer the usual 3.5-3,8% APR. However i saw this other method of staking, CIAN offering 9% and i started wondering what it is and how come it offers such high APR. Tried to look it up but the only results that i can find on Reddit are posts on the Loopring sub and not really much info about it there. Anyone knows if it’s safe to stake with them? Is anyone currently staking with Cian and are you getting the 9% promised?

Obviously ADA, SOL and ICP will be in there what else is hated in this sub hard enough that it’ll probably pump its brains out in the near future?

I am aware this post will also comeback and bite me in the backside when the great correction comes to claim us before the halving but..I will admit I have a bag of each of the above and I’m not looking for the pro’s and con’s as I’ll do my own research. I have noticed that over the last few weeks the most hated of Coins and tokens in this sub has done really well. So, in the interest of diversifying my portfolio give me this subs most hated coins that are nothing but vapourware and hopium.

Well isn’t that just bloody convenient:

“In another green shoot, some in the industry see the year’s rally as mostly driven by financial institutions, with individual investors more sidelined by the collapse of several big crypto exchanges and lenders in 2022 & 2023”

@CoinEdition

Yet the bigger tragedy is the article frames the collapse of Retail as a “Green Shoot”. Like “Yay, institutions managed to asset bubble retail into non existence!”

wtf…

I am very new to cryptocurrency. About a week into it. I am in the process of taking the course cryptocurrency investment course 2023 by suppoman just 10% through it.

Initially I invested in corgiai right before it trended up, sold it before it dropped and made good money.

Then I had some other investments that are doing okay but are now down.

I put money in Stella and watched it go up and I fell asleep right before I was gona sell. I was planning to watch it for another half hour to see what it did. Now I'm down majorly. Similar thing happened to milady. I didn't get out soon enough. Additionally I put tiny investments of $10 in a few that seemed to be going up and down rapidly and I thought I could make a little profit in a day since I bought them when they dropped and thought they would go up within a day or 2 as that's what had been happening for weeks. Even those are trending down now.

I haven't been putting big investments into anything because I'm new and don't have much money to play with...but also any loss is hard for me.

So when things drop right down after they spike and you miss the opportunity to sell, is it better to cut losses or wait to see if they go up?

Maybe specifically should I sell milady and Stella at a loss or should I expect them to go back up?

Thanks in advance.
