Original Title: Entered the market before the big doge and shiba pump. I sold half of shiba and held onto doge all the way from 11 cents to 70 cents and back down to its current. I spent those years learning and involving myself in communities. I eventually got into dogechain before they launched on KC and....

I was apart of a big nft project. Over the next 4-5 months. I made money moderating their discord and telegram (Drugged Huskies NFT) and making meme content for marketing. I also started my journey in swing trading. I turned $300 into $3k over 5 months. Plus $400 a month in TRX for making content and moderating. After everything kept crashing and My finances kinda leveled out, I sold all my tokens in dogechain and nfts because the founder of the nft project was trying to not pay his team even after i gave up my salary to get his important ppl paid. I had a horrible experience at the end but i learned alot.

Im making this post because as of 4 months ago i finally got back into the game since i got a new job and have been wanting to find new projects. I hold Doges and Shiba and XRP and SOL and OCEAN atm. Made some money off CRV but no longer hold.

Im interested in Solana alot for its gaming and Legit competitor to ETH.

If anyone has groups or has a project they are launching, Id love to be apart of it. I can make memes, Content, I can moderate chats and im good at social media interaction. I want to level up my skills and experience. Hope this post doesnt come off as cringe but you miss 100% of the shots you dont take and im taking my shot to find a cool group to join or project to be apart of and help

Long post. TL;DR at the end.

I have a friend who’s in a unique and challenging situation, and I thought this community might have some brilliant insights. They’ve recently come into possession of 1 million tokens of a certain utility cryptocurrency. Without going into specifics (for privacy reasons), here’s the crux of the issue:

• The crypto in question is relatively niche, with a daily trading volume hovering around $20k.
• It’s not widely listed – only available on a couple of exchanges.
• The current market price puts the nominal value of these tokens at around half a million dollars.

However, the low liquidity of the market means cashing out a significant portion could heavily impact the token’s price (not to mention tax implications and potential market panic).

We’re brainstorming strategies to realize value from this holding without causing a market crash or waiting years to liquidate. So far, we’ve considered:

• Gradual selling over a long period.
• Using the tokens as collateral for a stablecoin or cash loan.
• Exploring staking or yield farming options, if available.

But we’re feeling a bit stuck and could really use some fresh perspectives. What creative, effective strategies could be employed here? Are there any out-of-the-box ways to leverage such a holding that we might be overlooking?

Any insights, experiences, or advice would be massively appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts!

TL;DR: Friend holds 1M tokens of a low-liquidity utility crypto, worth about $500k nominally. Looking for creative strategies to profit from these tokens without tanking the market price. All ideas are welcome!

I've always done my taxes manually through turbotax and every year it's stressful as heck. Does anyone have experience going to a tax professional for crypto transactions through DEX's like Uniswap? How do you prepare? Do you go to a bigger company like H&R or a smaller more private office?

Recommendations on how to go about finding one that specializes in crypto are also welcome. Doing it through turbotax online is stressful because I always feel like I do it wrong and I never know if I'm overpaying or underpaying.

Sorry in advance if this is vague or has been asked a million times - I just want to get some others perspectives this year.

Title. My understanding is:

OP = optimistic rollups

ARB = optimistic rollups + zksnarks

Isn't ARB just OP+zksnarks?

Is my understanding wrong?

If so, why is OP outperforming ARB if ARB does everything OP does plus more? Isn't ARB fundamentally better than OP?

Can anyone explain what I'm missing???

There is a wallet which provides the option to import your HW using bluetooth and wallet connect.

Given the low number of commits, forks and stars on GitHub I am reluctant to use this particular wallet.

But, there are a good bunch of people who says they use it. In any case, I really don’t trust it. I am however willing to give it an honest shot; but I need to understand the risks.

Assuming that my seedphrase doesn’t leave the HW, what risks are associated with connecting to this particular wallet?

If, say, I only import X crypto, is these the ONLY funds that are at risk if the wallet turns malicious? Or is it also the remaining funds on my other crypto secured by my seedphrase?

Hello everyone!

I wanted to post this on r/binance but I am unable to do so there.

I want to withdraw crypto (BTC, ETH) to my bank account from Binance, but I can't find a reliable source that I trust. Can you help me out?

I know very little about Binance. I bought some BTC and ETH a year or 2 ago and I want to withdraw them now. Can you give me some instructions? Should I convert them to stable coin first? What would be the best coin to convert? Are there regions, where you can't withdraw from Binance?

Thank you in advance and if the question is not for here sorry and please tell me where I can ask!

Call me crazy but I always feel that it’s a bullish sign when you see these BIG price drops and then recovery’s, it always seems like there are some huge orders that need filling for high profile clients and so they drop the price super quickly to fill those orders and then we see the price rebound. Anyone else feel this way?

Of course you get all the “BITCOIN PRICE DROPS 5% in 30 mins” posts on social media and that itself causes a load of hype, fear, panic selling and then anger.

I dunno it just feels “normal” when there are these rapid highly manipulated moves in any market - it shows there is interest, I’m always more on edge when the price just flatlines and doesn’t do anything for a while, also add in the fact that this latest “drop” was middle of the night UK/USA time too on a Sunday when nobody is watching…..

Hello everyone :)

My first post here be gentle :)

Ofc if it's not the place to ask or I did something wrong in posting, please guide me to where I can ask this and/or let me know so I can fix it.

I just saw a second day of whole market decline, right after Bitcoin going down a few percent, when everyone are talking bull market. Also saw some contradictory predictions predicting a HUGE market bear crash by their indicators.

My point is and what I'm trying to find out: did something big happened the past two days and I missed it? Or is it just regular swings before a bull run?

I've tried looking on CoinMarketCap, Coingecko, Even DefiLlama, and several other crypto news sites, and nobody talks about this.

Got some investments in and it kinda sucks seeing money vaporised like that. I want to make sure that if there is a bear movement to pull out in time.

In short: does anyone know anything?

Help will be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

Now that we’ve gotten a little taste of living in the green(I’m well aware how early it still is lol), what has everyone been daydreaming about? Give me a realistic one and a parabolic face melting bullrun realized gains one.

I’ll go first, I’ve been in the service industry 15 years busting my butt since I was 18, my realistic one is I just want to be able to not work for a couple years and be able to travel and enjoy my 30’s without stress.

My parabolic gains daydream is pay cash for a house and get either a new 2 door Bronco in Cactus Grey or a new Nissan Z Nismo in Stealth Grey. Let’s hear what you guys want Crypto Santa to bring next year! 👇🏼and good luck to everyone in the bullrun!🚀

Hi everyone,

Quick question for you all. I’m trying to sift through the noise and find some YouTubers who were real about the bear market hitting us after the last couple of bull runs. Not looking for fortune tellers, just honest voices who didn’t just shill and hype crypto non-stop.

Did you follow anyone who actually gave a heads-up about the market cooling down, instead of just hyping it up? Like, someone who said, “Hey, things might get rough,” instead of “To the moon!” in every video. I know no one’s got a crystal ball, but it’s good to know who’s keeping it real.

Drop names or channels if you’ve got any. Cheers!

Hi guys,

As you know Venezuelan living here, crypto enthusiast (even during the bear market).

A lot of people involved in the title, but it is what it is.

At least here in Venezuela, almost the only way of going crypto>fiat and fiat>crypto was P2P (Binance P2P market is the biggest, before that LocalBitcoin was king).

This way, with Meru you can go USDC to USD in cash or Bolivares in your bank account (using MoneyGram, which works here along with Western Union).

This is something funny about the crypto haters and deniers, they are totally convinced there IS NO WAY of exchanging USDT or USDC or any stablecoin pegged to the USD, to "real" USD, because no one is willing to give "real" USD at 1:1 for these "crypto".

This post is not promoted or sponsored, I haven't used the service yet (will soon probably), just found out it interesting.

Just find it extremely hilarious how people here have barely any idea of how crypto, web3 and defi all work.

There's a never ending shill battle of dino-coins (ALGO, ADA, XRP...) where each side claims that their own project will change the world and turn it into a monetary utopia.

Also love all the 'Crypto is all a scam, BTC is the only non-shitcoin around' as if Bitcoin isn't heavily manipulated, hands-down the worst blockchain to use, and completely failed in what satoshi had created it for and just changed scope.

Be honest with yourselves guys, shilling your random bags here will at best get $1000 in buys and wont budge the price.

If you're here for the tech and the crypto-anarchy future crypto promises, you don't even have to invest. You just need to understand how blockchain work to a basic level (unless you're a dev/builder)

If you're here for the money, be a bit more practical and realize that 99% of price actions move based on hype, FOMO and rampant speculation.

Yes, your 4-year-old bag will likely return in profit in the next bull run and make you some money, but newer shit will do 10x the movement.

No, none of your projects will likely change the world in any significant way.

90% of the people here is just chipping in on some random alts on Binance/Coinbase a friends told them and doesnt even have a wallet on-chain to use for the DeFi but for some reason they're convinced that a particular chain is the future.

I'm all for monetary independence for FIAT and a better system, but many people here are completely out-of-touch with what actually goes on within the crypto scene.

The Internet took ~50 years to get where it is now, websites made in the first 10 years are basically online museums.

Crypto is ~10 years old and you think that a blockchain made 5 years after Bitcoin is going to be a game-changer and make y'all rich with your $1k buy in 20 years?

Think again, stop shilling like it's a job, only memecoins with <$10 millions in market cap might benefit from it and you're just better off planning for taking profits.

Rant over, have fun fighting on which blockchain from the 90s is gonna have the biggest dump.
