And there she is. Looking into the abyss of “go fuck yourself”. For me, watching Warren and Jamie , squirm with frustration and hatred all the while deluding themselves that in some way they could “shut down crypto”. If it could be shut down governments would have done it a decade ago. In the end where does government get its power? Centralized “money”. Why would government tolerate a threat to its sole power? It can’t be shut down. It’s surprising that in particular Jamie doesn’t seem to understand that. I suppose this shows that intelligence is meaningless in traditional finance. You just need to be connected.

All that said I’ll keep grabbing my popcorn to watch their ilk as they stare horror stricken while their centralized realities stare down the barrel of decentralized inevitability.

I'm a crypto investor starting back at 2021 in the middle of the bullrun. I've seen other people doing 100x and 1000x, so I also wanted it.

Even still -50%, I keep DCAing into crypto, also into altcoins.

Me, I also dream of my portfolio doing a 1000x, but I'm afraid being an impatient "paper hand" when I see my coins doing even a 5x.

What would be your strategy to endure the upwards rollercoaster?

The pre-halving year is ending soon, some day in April 2024 will be the halving. Spot ETF coming in early 2024, Santa rally will start soon. So many bullish factors for crypto is up head.

Everything is so well prepared for a bullrun in the next year, I am so hyped and hope that my and your all portfolios will be doing 1000x. We suffered this bear market so much already and I am so glad that the suffering will come to an end, a happy ending and a start for wealth.

I yolo’d almost $1k into a micro cap poker coin during the bear. It’s up over 10x and still pumping hard.

What’s the best strategy moving forward? I’m thinking of taking my original yolo out and letting the rest ride. I still think it has an easy 10x from this price as Alex Becker hinted in his new video today that he’s looking at it.

He didn’t name the coin specifically today but he pumped it during the last bull run.

If it 10xs from here that would be a 100x on where I started so I could layer out as following:

10x: sell 10% 20x: sell 10% 30x: sell 10%

Etc.

Any more obvious strategies than that? Obviously could sell everything now for nice gains too.

I’ll keep it short and sweet. Been in the space since 2017, been through the cycles a few times. This isn’t my first Rodeo.

I been consistently DCA on only BTC the past 24 months , but now as this new potential bull market might kick off, I’m looking to risk a bit more as I’m already pretty up.

I have $10,000 to gamble on Alts right now setting a stop loss at - 50% so realistically a $5000 bet

I’m just curious to see what my fellow cryptocurrency friends like at the moment .

A few smaller cap coins/projects I like.

  • The Graph (been through 2 cycles already, is a solid project with good history, not to low cap, has had a big ATH)
  • Audius (I work in the music business and if these artist ever learn about this it could be a huge game changer)
  • Aave (solid project)

Let me know what you guys like and why

The more I learn the more I think I should at least attempt to try and use a hardware wallet. I'm not super invested in crypto yet, but can't hurt to start protecting myself now. So a few questions if I may.

1.) I use Kraken, so are there hardware wallets that are better tailored for one CEX over the other?

2.) Are "beginner friendly" hardware wallets even a thing or are they all about the same, with their own flavor in terms of software flow?

3.) Which is the "gold standard" for beginner friendly hardware wallets?

I've been looking at the Tangem wallets, are they any good?

Thanks!

After this huge JITO airdrop where people only staked 1 SOL for one day and still got thousands in JITO for it I'm looking to get in on the action.

I would love to hear how you guys are trying to farm Airdrops in the crazy SOL environment rn, thanks.

If you haven't heard of airdrop farming it's one of the best ways to get a solid start in crypto. I'd highly recommend looking further into it for people feeling left out by this rally we've been having.

Also if you wanna share other tips/stories of successes in Airdrop farming I'm sure there are others like me who would appreciate it, thanks! But, I'm personally just trying to stick to SOL or maybe other large caps for this.

Been thinking a bunch about BTC and the Cryptocurrency space and where it might go or how it might fall apart.

Lets just dream big about BTC. 2024 rates get cut quickly, ETF gets approved, regulation in the US is soft on Crypto and somehow 2024 eoy it hits 100k.

After all these dream scenarios happen what are you expecting to happen?

What other catalist are possible after all that.

Is it going stay a game of speculation?

Everyone is thirsty for the possible inflow of money with regulation and ETFs.

I thought regulation destroys the orginal ideology of Crypto.

Brokers with KYC, your money is trackable to you, you'll have to pax taxes over gains.

Some country's already tax you over gains..

Those bigboys might bring allot of money, but they will also manipulate markets even more. Squeze people with fees and whatever else they do.

Is mass adoption really going to happen?

You are just a smart boy taking risks. You saw the writting on the wall and outsmarted 100s of millions of people.. If not billions!

It's pointless to do your shopping with BTC even if it was possible since the price always swings so it can't be used by the masses to pay for daily live items.

Think of the logistical nightmare when asking for a refund when the price just changed by 5%..

What can Cryptocurrency's offer to the mainstream folk that actually would be used amass?

A wallet on your phone isn't groundbreaking. So it has to be something else.

Even if payment systems work real life using blockchain tech and it would be used for fiat payments that it not mass adoption. Thats mass implementation.

Greetings!

Started using htx.com roughly a month ago for simple spot trades in addition to CoinEX because of liquidity on my preferred trading pair. Trading is good and I have no bad experience.

But then came that recent hacking incident with Huobi freezing all withdrawal. I was scared there for a minute but they've opened withdrawal for BTC, ETH, USDT and some other coins in recent weeks. Today I withdrew BTC from there with pretty hefty commission of 0.0015 BTC which is significantly higher than on CoinEX. Bitcoin was sent and I have it safely in my custody.

Have anyone here had serious issues with Huobi, lost funds or was wronged in any way? I would love to continue trading there, that's why I seek feedback from people trading there. Thank you! 😀

PS. Huobi is convenient for me because of no-KYC just like CoinEX. I am firm believer in doing crypto without giving personal information.

Recently Money & Macro uploaded a video analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of upcoming CBDCs. He presents this chart for his 1-3 star rating of the attributes of each.

Money & Macro's comparison

Firstly some of the ratings do not sit right with me.

CBDCs have the same privacy rating as cash? Absolutely not. 1/3 at best for privacy.

And 3/3 for accessibility? For a system that one can be cut out of at a government's whim? Absolutely silly.

But it got me thinking how would crypto score. So here are my nominations, which I am 100% certain of and I will not be corrected.

| | BTC | XMR | ETH | Stablecoins | |

|

|

|

|

| | Privacy | ⭐ public chain | ⭐⭐⭐(⭐) As private as it gets. | ⭐ public chain | ⭐ 2 if used on a privacy preserving network | | Accessibility | ⭐⭐⭐ Permissionless. | ⭐⭐⭐ Permissionless. | ⭐⭐⭐ Permissionless. | ⭐⭐ Can be blacklisted by the provider. | | Safety | ⭐⭐⭐(⭐) As secure as it gets. | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐ Can be frozen or transferred at the provider's whim. | | Convenience | ⭐ Long settlement times. | ⭐ Pain to sync and use properly, long settlement times. | ⭐ Long settlement times. | ⭐⭐ Gets a star over ETH for already being in a familiar denomination. | | Online payments | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐ | | Costs | ⭐ Prohibitively expensive to use for everyday spending (without abstractions like lightning). | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐ Prohibitively expensive to use for everyday spending (on L1). | ⭐/⭐/⭐ Depends entirely on the host network. 1 star if on Ethereum L1. |

Note I am using the fourth (⭐) to denote that no new currency system could hope to equate to this.)

Total noobie here, but my question may be simple to answer. I have a significant about of a meme coin, 122m, and I am trying to set up a limit order/target price to sell all of it. Crypto.com will not let if it's worth more than $5k per transaction. Do I need to wait for the value of the coin to go up to sell at that higher price? If this is in the wrong place, let me know and will go kick rocks and find another spot.

Example: I have 122m of a meme coin. Meme is worth .000001287, but want to sell it for 1 dollar. Even one coin is going to be more than 5k if I hit that price. This is just a an example price is not specific to any coin.
