I'm sure everybody is aware we are in a solid bull run right now, and there's really not many ways to go wrong with Crypto right now. It's a strong investment with strong gains and moon potential all over the market. We've all been looking for indicators on just how the bull market can go. There are influential individuals such as Mr. Linneman that have confirmed the bull run will break 80k by end of year, and that this is just the beginning.

In 2016 we saw huge price jumps to ATH, and then the ATH in 2021 made those gains look like pennies. The masses are getting in. The general public is getting their money in, liquidity is flowing, and crypto stocks are some of the hottest on the market.

gPool is Officially ending Tfuel Staking

Only 48 hours notice was given by gPool, and it was not clearly communicated in advance in written form. It was buried in a YouTube video.

If they do this with TFUEL, they will do it with everything else, including XPRT and THETA.

Hearing a validator whine about losses in one area of a thriving staking ecosystem is disingenuous.

If gPool doesn't like losses, then hit them hard and unstake EVERYTHING until they get their act together.

THETA Network built a partnership with gPool. gPool has ownership tokens on the network, and benefits from its association with THETA.

  • gPool had a near 100% block validation rate, and they are holding 20% of TFUEL staking hostage over "money."
  • Commissions are as high as 8%. Even ATOM validators have smaller commissions than that.
  • Once you unstake, there is no easy accounting for the commissions that were paid, or any manner in which to claw back those funds.

I'm curious, how many of you attribute your interest in crypto at least in part to having become comfortable with the idea of digital currency and assets in online videos games?

I was toying with the thesis that AI is going to push a lot of people into crypto. Not necessarily directly, though potentially that too, but because the power of the technology will increasingly drive home for people the inescapable reality that the future is only more and more digital. The idea is that resistance to crypto is at least partially an expression of skepticism that the purely digital can ever compete with the hardness of the real world, and that as that skepticism recedes, so will skepticism of crypto, to a degree.

If that thesis has some merit, it stands to reason that many of the people who get into crypto today are people who have already embraced the idea of digital space as being competitive with physical space, and that participating in online virtual worlds, where digital space is made more real because of the superimposition of social space, may have primed people to be ready for the idea of crypto ahead of the curve. That, and the fact that digital worlds generally include some form of virtual currency.

The ongoing rivalry between MOONS 🌓 and CONE is interesting, at least for me.

You can still tip CONE within subreddits like r/. ConeHeads and r/. FiestaDog and others like Plunger or Taco; and to top it off there is general positivity there. It is a bit fascinating and a lot of people are stating that it reminds them of the early early days of dogecoin.

The tipping culture involving cones adds a distinct layer, yet the absence of Cone on any exchange.

Success might hinge on factors such as community backing, innovation, and successful integration into larger platforms.

What do you guys think? MOONS or CONE?

Both?

if a crypto has its own blockchain but i can also purchase the same crypto on another network which has the same price. Does this mean it’s the same?

Will there be a difference in price etc in the future?

I bought a whole bunch of Flux today with ethereum and then swapped it for ERC-20 Flux but i’ve just realised Flux has its own blockchain.

I have googled before anyone comes at me and from what i understand, it’s for bridging?

What i want to know is - am i better holding Flux on its own blockchain? instead of the eth version?

Original Title: The FIRST EVER P2P Marketplace for Airline Tickets has launched. Airline tickets as NFT's are a thing, and you can RESELL them on the open market! This is a revolutionary application live right now on blockchain, show people this when they ask what blockchain can do.

The second phase only being open for 5 hours, 20 million LINK were added bringing the total staked to 40 million LINK.

I have been so excited for this day for a long time. 8% of LINKs supply has now been removed from circulation to secure it's economic model. There is no telling when the pool will open again and given that this pool filled up before General Access it's unlikely the next pool won't fill up either. Not only do you earn LINK for staking, all the projects that participated in the build program will be paying LINK stakers in their native token.

The partial language SEC requested to be added was:

"If a digital asset is determined or asserted to be a security, it is likely to become difficult or impossible for the digital asset to be traded, cleared or custodied in the United States through the same channels used by non‑security digital assets, which in addition to materially and adversely affecting the trading value of the digital asset is likely to significantly impact its liquidity and market participants’ ability to convert the digital asset into U.S. dollars"

For a moment I was concerned because this is "the" ETF. However, after thinking about it;

SEC has said over and over that it is not a security. It has no issuer etc. So, this leads me to believe that the SEC is just covering their bases for when businesses apply for ETFs with XYZ alt coins.

Any alts that are even within remote question would need to go through heavy financial auditing etc. to prove it is not a security before an ETF is even considered.

I think the real question begs; are most alt coins going to be ok with lengthy audits just to be in hopes of being deemed a security to then be considered for an ETF? Or will most not even try at the risk of SEC uncovering things they didn't really want to reveal? I'm just having a hard time believing that there would be any other ETFs that would be considered with any kind of ease after what we've seen over the last 3 years.
