On Greenland,

It is already a NATO colony with military bases. NATO would not object to more US presence as part of NATO mission. EU/Denmark would not object to FDI from US for resource exploitation.

The only possible reason for a US "national security" claim is that as a prelude to withdrawing from NATO, it needs to threaten EU further. Any economic exploitation is BS prohibitive due to lack of infrastructure, but if it happens it must be without fair compensation.

quote from US empire pigfucker in charge of destroying Europe:

NATO’s Rutte said last month that any increase in spending must be paired with greater efficiency, focusing on innovation and joint purchasing. He said NATO must “get rid of that idiotic system” where each member sets national requirements, which “makes it almost impossible to buy together, to have joint procurement.” If NATO doesn’t boost efficiency, he said, “even with 4% you can’t defend yourselves.”

This is a call to buy everything from US. He's also said that Europe must sacrifice all social institutions to boost war on Russia spending.

Under Trump logic that any country that has a trade deficit is taking advantage of US and must submit harder to US, surely giving power to a nazi ethnostate that doesn't control US politicians (Israel is special), but sucks up US budget resources is ineligible/untrustable to be included in a mutual protection alliance with US.

EU can choose/double down on its pathetic colonial subservience by being unsupported in its war on Russia, while Ukraine is sold more to Blackrock, and EU spends more on US weapons and energy.

As democracy fetishists, they deserve what they "choose".

Trump wants Greenland for same purpose, but buying nordstream is path to mark up Russian gas such that LNG is competitive.

Von Der Layen to support EU extortion of course.

Promising to buy US climate terrorist energy is subjugating Europe into more expensive climate destruction. Immediate response quote from CIA captured subhuman traitorous pigshit:

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters that replacing Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports with U.S. volumes would be cheaper, and that the EU would look to engage and negotiate on the matter when Trump takes office in 2025.

Not only does Russia have a surplus of NG, from sanctioned exports, and a shorter shipping distance, with supposed price caps from Europe, it also used to provide NG without the expense and emissions of liquifying it. Qatar and ME also has a shipping advantage over US. Lying pig fucker's lies are conflicting with each other.

This happens to be the traitorous pig fucker that will be negotiating on behalf of EU with its colonial master.

spending more on defence means spending less on other priorities. But it is only a little less. On average, European countries easily spend up to a quarter of their national income on pensions, health and social security systems.

This of course is because Russia had to boost military production to fight off NATO evil, and so the only obvious solution is soylent green, and mandatory draft.

A 50% military budget increase is a significant price to pay for the misinformed crackheads that support the Ukrainian war, and the innocents who don't.

Dressing it up in desperate Trump appeasement terms is sure to bring unity instead of revolution in EU sycophants.

The US government is simultaneously (A) preparing to remove from its list of designated terrorist organizations the group which led the charge to oust Bashar al-Assad in Syria and (B) justifying Israel’s land grab in Syria by saying the nation has been taken over by terrorists.

The obvious hypocrisy is that Russia's special military operation in Ukraine is real self defense, including protection of ethnic minorities in Ukraine.

Seems like the new ruler's alliances will be strongest towards Turkey, which is one of the angriest nations vs Israel. It would seem very divisive/factionalizing to become a US/Israel colony like Jordan.

Written before fall of Damascus, but prescient.

Maybe still unclear what happens to Allawite region.

Despite funding the coup, Israel/US influence over power may be limited other than funding an invasion of Lebanon, though still not a stable without longterm blowback operation.

Turkey/Islamist control may still be as willing to cooperate with Russia/Iran as the US. But author's supposition of separating middle east into Sunni Jihadist and Israel rule is most likely. US does not have kingmaker power as it did in Iraq.

Romania elections annulled, because court didn't like result. infinite US/EU influence allowed, but it failed. NATO sucks.

However, petrified that Trump may turn his back on the war, there is a school of thought in Europe that they could offer something interesting to incentivise him other than the carrot of Ukraine’s vast stores of critical minerals that Americans lack — eg., more trading incentives for America; greater spending on NATO; more pressure on Iran; “peacekeeping boots on the ground” inside Ukraine; help in Trump’s upcoming economic skirmishes with China and so on.
