The Ravens end the season with @ Chargers, Rams, Jaguars, 49ers, Dolphins, Steelers.

The AFCN will likely either come down to Week 17.

I think it is fairly obvious that they hid the injury based on the way they took down the IG post about the wrist brace (or whatever you would like to call it). The NFL generally does not respond well to fraudulent injury reports. So how many picks do you think that this will cost Cincinnati?

Obviously Joe Burrow's injury is likely significant (At the minimum weeks) but if it is infact season ending, do the bengals dare to try and lure Brady out of retirement?

Tom has been adamant about not wanting to play at the start of the season, but given we are over the halfway point it might be enticing enough for him to consider it. The Bengals have a great supporting cast of receivers once higgins is back and I could easily see Tom stepping in and delivering.

I know there is a very slim chance of this realistically happening but I do wonder if they would even consider trying to lure him out. Thoughts?

There has to be stats out there that show injuries league wide per season. It feels like this season we have seen an insane amount of series injuries. Just curious how this compares to other seasons

Maybe someone smarter than me can interpret this, because I’m not understanding how they came to their conclusion. According to this study, the average number of injuries during Sunday games was 21.4 compared to Thursday games at 21.7 but the difference is “negligible”. I feel like they didn’t take into account the fact only one game is played on fewer Thursdays, as opposed to the majority of games taking place every Sunday.

He had huge red flags in terms of injuries (missing the end of 2018 and now will likely miss the rest of this season), and is making Jamarcus Russell’s deal look like a bargain.

Cincinnati could have been a SB contender with a decent QB and instead they gave their fans a 275m quarterback who can't stay healthy.

It's no secret that Myles Garret has been amazing this season. However when put into context his season only seems more impressive. He has had far fewer chances to sack the opposing quarterback than the other leading edge rushers.

Here you can see opposing teams only attempted 236 passes against Cleveland this season, which is by far the least in the league. The league average is about 319 attempts, but that includes teams that have played 10 games, while Cleveland has only played nine games so far. The league average is about 34 attempts per game, but Cleveland only sees about 26 attempts per game.

Added to this, Cleveland has managed to reduce the opposing teams time of possession under 25 minutes in 5 out of 9 games so far.

Williams was a first-round pick and was an All-Pro offensive tackle in his rookie season in 1994, but was suspended after testing positive for drugs. He never played in the NFL again, but the Eagles never released him, either - until yesterday.

The article goes on to note that Williams is now eligible to be claimed by any other NFL team.

I'm sure some statistician Redditors here could confirm/refute whether Williams is, technically, the longest-tenured player in Eagles history - and indeed in all of NFL history.

The Cats haven't had a series lead since November 14, 2021 when the Bengels beat the Ravens taking a 210-209-10 series lead.

The Cat team with the most amount of wins is the Lions with 83 then the Bengales with 65.

Falcons have the most wins for the Birds with 60. 36 of those coming from the Panthers.

The PEAK of the Cat's dominance came in 1998. The Jags beat the Ravens on September 20th to give the Cats a 105-57-7 (+48) record against the Birds. It's been downhill ever since.

I kind of double checked the data but I'm tired and may have missed something here and there and right now my spreadsheet is an ugly mess so you'll just have to trust me.

There’s been so many incredible storylines this year of players who were on nobody’s radar breaking out and becoming top contributors on their teams. Guys like Puka and Dobbs should have a chance to be recognized, and currently categories like CPOY and the ROY’s aren’t cutting it, with OROY being a QB award, and CPOY often going to top talent. I want something that shows us the guys who put in the work without the media attention, without the reassurance of their spot on the roster, maybe they will never be league MVP, but they damn sure earned a spot at the table and deserve some recognition

It brings a vibe to the stadium I believe is missing. I understand it would take away a few seats but I think it would bring a liveliness to certain stadiums that need them.

In passing, this puts him ahead of guys like Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Steve McNair, Randall Cunningham, Cam Newton, and Tony Romo.

In rushing, he’s basically tied with Daunte Culpepper.

This blew my mind! What a weirdly great career. Happy TNF, FitzMagic!
