For the third time since Israel launched a war on Gaza for which it is currently on trial for genocide at the World Court, a person in the United States has set themself on fire to protest Israel's killing of more than 41,000 Palestinians and U.S. complicity in the slaughter.

As Israel continues its mass attacks against Palestinians, which have killed tens of thousands, Britain’s Department for Business and Trade says “Our teams will be entering negotiating rooms as soon as possible, laser-focused on creating new opportunities for UK firms”.

In the 1930s, the Zionist movement was committed to rescuing Jews fleeing persecution in Europe only if it meant their immigration to Palestine. The leader of the Zionist community in Palestine at the time, David Ben Gurion, was clear that Jewish Agency funds were not to be used to save Jews going somewhere other than Palestine.
