Bought a Intel 9560NGW only to realize it works with 8th and 9th gen motherboards. (I have a H610m board)

Real scummy of Intel not putting this anywhere on their spec list but I`m in the market of looking for another one that will will across all motherboards, thanks

The motherboard that I have is the MSI H610m-B (which has a slot of a wifi card, I just need to buy one)

which is better, 32GB of DDR4, or 16GB of DDR5? I don't know if the difference between 4 and 5 really matters that much, but for my own sanity I have to ask.

I'm trying to use 2 wired earphones (1 for audio and 1 for the mic). But whenever I put either of them on the mic port, only white noise is present. Currently using the USB adapter for the mic. Is there any fix or workaround to get both of them to work (1 for mic and 1 for audio)?

Hi all! New to this thread.

I have been playing MMORPGs for so long. I have a pretty decent build and recently, a game that I was playing: Throne and Liberty is recommending a 'Low' quality settings. Though I have been running on Epic (which is the highest). On normal circumstances, FPS doesn't drop that often, but whenever new textures and when players swarm on a map, FPS drops tremendously bad.

Throne & Liberty Minimum Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500

RAM: 8 GB RAM

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

Disk Space: 60 GB

Throne & Liberty Minimum Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-9500

RAM: 16 GB RAM

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660

Disk Space: 60 GB

My Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-Core Processor (16 CPUs)

RAM: 64 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

MoBo: B450M

SSD: 1TB NVMe SN550

I don't know what to do anymore. It's playable, but whenever I stream on Discord, FPS drops BAD.

had this gpu for 8 months, a 7800xt. in the past 2-3 days my pc started black screening randomly at random intervals. the only thing that would fix it would be to restart the computer, sometimes i would have to restart a few times for any display to appear. now no matter what i do i dont get any display. I took out my gpu and the pc boots as normal with my integrated gpu. does this mean my gpu will need repairing? or could it be a driver problem or something alike?

So I recently upgraded my monitor to a 1440p 240hz and I was able to run up to 170fps consistently on assetto corsa. That was until today, basically i downloaded msi afterburner and did their "automatic overclock" option. I played for about 2 minutes till my game crashed. I put the overclocked setting back to stock and now my clock speeds are all over the place on idle reaching 7000mhz. Also l've noticed a huge loss in fps which would be about 100fps now. If someone has had the same issue or knows a solution to this please help. My pc specs are - Intel i7-12700k - 16gb ddr4 ram -NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8B -500GB PCI-E NVME SSD - 1tb SSD

Current Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor

Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

GPU: Asus TUF GAMING OC GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB Video Card

I built this PC a few months ago as I needed the upgrade, but I have been experiencing quite the bottleneck with a 3060ti paired with a 7800x3d, especially because I game at 1440p 144hz. I am planning on upgrading to a 4070Ti Super for my birthday soon, but wanted to know if that would be enough to stream games at a good enough quality to YouTube through probably Stream Labs.

I used to stream and it was really fun but my previous PC definitely couldn't handle it lol. i don't wanna drop 2k on a 4090, plus buy a new power supply for it lol (current is 850W) but I wanna start streaming again because I had a great time doing it.

Thanks for any help!

I need to vent! I don’t think I have ever come across a more complicated system than an Xbox one. From singing in, to navigating between games, it is BY FAR the most unintuitive UI I have ever come across. I have a PC and PlayStation 5 and while I know I’m used to those UIs, objectively XBOX is soooooo bad. And I’m not somebody who is bad with tech. I literally have my own broadcasting media business where I handle complicated tech constantly. What is with XBox?!

Not ur budget. Pc building starts with the monitor you are using or you are going to use.

Just like how frame generation and upscalers normalized bad development and condoned lazy game optimization, it’s almost to the point where they’re essential rather than an extra.

And look where we’re… a few years of it and it feels like we’re practically forced to use dlss/fsr and frame generation just to run games normally.

Throwing more power at GPUs to get better performance instead of better designs/architectures will likely cause the same problem at the hardware level, and I feel that in a generation or two, you might need a 1000W+ PSU even for a mid-range PC.

Nvidia is basically doing what American car manufacturers did: throw more fuel at it to get more horsepower, without caring about inefficiency and waste… at least with American cars, you got a ton of power for a relatively cheap pricetag

Why is almost no one talking about how NVIDIA seems to be repeating the "4080 12GB that was really a 4070 card" situation with the rumoured 5080 16GB vs. 5080 24GB?

Fact: The 4080 12gb (aka 4070ti) is a card with basically half everything compared to the 4090.

Now 5080 16gb is rumoured to be a card with half everything compared to the 5090 therefore my thought process 5080 16gb is actually the 5070ti

Some of you seem OK with an 80 class card being half the 90. Why?

Is it because it’s still going to be on the gb202?

So what? They just cut it down a lot more than they usually do. Maybe gb202 not passing as 90 cards is higher or something.

Is it because is still going to be on the same level as the 4090?

So what? The 4070ti (aka 4080 12gb) was also the same level as the 3090.

Have you all forgotten? We used to rage over that the 70 tire card wasn't on the same level as the previous flagship?
