I bought a second hand full keyboard and when trying to configure macros I saw that I didn’t have the “Meta bindings “ feature available.

So now I have an extra button that doesn’t do anything.

Is there a way to remedy it? Make it usable?

Hi

Been playing a lot of games on pc and I've noticed that every game these days has terrible buggy screen space reflections, shadows and ao. Had to turn it off on dragons dogma 2. Horizon forbidden west was terrible as the screen spaced ambient occlusion and shadows disappeared in plain sight when you moved camera certain angles and now playing ff16 where screen spaced reflections bug out at the edge of screen making it very distracting. The problem is that if you disable them the water looks bad and there's no alternatives. Are these something that can be fixed with reshade or mods? You get the rare game like elder scrolls online that has great screen space reflections that don't look buggy at all but most just look bad.

Recently upgraded from a 5500 to a 5900x and now every 5-10m while gaming my cpu usage will spike to 100%, my cpu fan will slow down and my game will stutter, than after 15 ish seconds it goes back to normal.

Checked temps with OpenHardwareMonitor and when this happens cpu is around 85 degrees (not great ik but should cause problems).

This only happens in some games aswell (Beamng drive, GOW:R, Roblox are the only ones I’ve noticed do it consistently.)

Specs:

5900x 32GB ddr4 @ 3200mhz (quad channel) (Stable Overclocked) 4070ti 750w fractal design PSU Asus B550M-K Mobo

On the eve of the RTX 50xx series GPU's being released, it made me think of something. We are seeing more and more games come out that even the RTX 4090 struggles to hit 60fps @ 4K unless DLSS and FG are used. So are these game devs using RTX 4090 (or equivalent) hardware or something else? How are they able to ensure 100% stability in a game if they too can't even get their games to run 60fps @ 4K natively? OK. Ready for you to call me a noob and give me the most obvious answer.

Hi, I am currently building my new pc and wanting to put in my ssd, a normal M2 would not fit, it said J16 on the board, i could not find any convincing results what this is.

The Pin is more in the middle, not towards the top.

What kind of SSD can i put in this slot? MSATA?

Title says most of it but I will provide a bit more context.

I've had this PC for about 4 years and recently upgraded the GPU from a 2060 Super to a 4060 TI (Was a birthday gift) but now that leaves my CPU bottlenecked, which is currently a Ryzen 5 3600XT. My budget is about $500 AUD so I will not be able to upgrade to an AM5 CPU. Any suggestions? Looking at either a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Ryzen 9 5900X

Current Specs:

MOBO: AORUS B450 Pro

GPU: Gigabyte 4060TI Windforce OC 8GB

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600XT

RAM: 16GB DDR4

This isn't a "Oh all triple A games are bad" post, because some triple A games are good

For me what's becoming more apparent these days is that a lot of triple A games feel samey. Whether it's the combat/gameplay or it's art style.

A lot of games don't really change the gameplay like new cods and Assassin's Creeds. I am a Assassin's creed fan, I will admit it, but Shadows looks boring to me. We're back to Syndicate like gameplay now, but that's what it is. Except that Yasuke is more of a Eivor instead of Jacob.

From the art perspective, all they are now is super hyper realistic soulless artstyle that we've seen a million times already. So whenever i see a hyper realistic art style game, i am immediately turn away from the game. There's no imagination whatsoever. What hyper realistic art style says to me is that "We played it safe in the worst way possible"

This is why i kinda have turned to older and indie games.
