Original Title: Alan Turing is the father of theoretical computer science & the PC Master Race. In 1936 he invented the Turing Machine, one of the first digital computers. This LEGO IDEAS model called "WORKING TURING MACHINE" by user The Bananaman needs 10,000 votes for the chance of becoming an official LEGO set.

Monster Hunter Wilds recommended spec says you can achieve 1080p 60fps using frame gen, but this implies an internal frame rate of around 30fps. Frame Gen doesn't work well at low frame rates and both major GPU vendors suggest against using it at low frame rates. The increase in latency alone for an action game sounds atrocious.

Why, seemingly, has the advice of the people who made the technology been ignored here? This doesn't appear to be the intended use case at all.

I am genuinely asking. I refuse to believe that the devs are somehow just lazy or incompetent or something. Is the intent that this is a game of the future like crisis 1? But then, the game is also being released on consoles. Is this a Dragons Dogma 2 situation, where late in development they find themselves limited by CPU power and can't easily go backwards?
