I’ve loved games since a kid, but grew up pretty “poor” you could say. My dream was always to have the best of the best gaming setups. I bought my first pc this January at age 26. And I’m still super hype about it. I’m constantly looking up upgrades, always looking for different games, more mods, ways to improve my experience, etc.

It’s not just games for me, it’s a symbol of how far I’ve come in life that I can finally afford a pretty good gaming pc, curved monitors, simracing and sim flight setups, and more. But it seems like a lot of people see it as a negative vice almost? Idk. Why do so many non pc users/non gamers see it as a negative thing? They dont see the coolness in it, how amazing technology is, how cool it is that you can make games look so close to reality. The fact that people are MAKING these games, and people are making mods for them. It’s just so fucking cool dude

Original Title: I peaked in late 2008 with this 3-way SLI GTX280, i7 build with a 30" LCD. After building since the 386 days, I had a stretch of 6 years where I only had laptops. When I got to build another gaming rig, I went a bit nuts. And great timing! FC2, Dead Space, FO3, Borderlands, etc. Such a good time!

Mine would be: gtx 750 ti --> gtx 1060 3gb --> rx 6600 --> rx 7800 xt

You can see me straying away from Nvidia there, the only reason I did that is because AMD prices are so much more reasonable than Nvidia and they perform good too.
