I was scrolling through amazon looking at wheel prices and when i realised that the SF1000 by Thrustmaster was at 300€ instead of 400€ it was a no brainer purchase.

Honestly 100% worth it. Apart from the shifters which are a bit too loud for my liking but i could always buy the T-Chrono paddles if i really felt the need to.

If you’re on motion sim rig, take your time to check all ur screw, my rig were making weird noise today so I take some time check, and thn I realise that 4 to 5 screw got loose and 3 to 4 screw even fell off completely and 2 off them that fell off was holding my seat. Can’t imagine if my whole seat fall to the ground mid race, it could really cause some serious injuries.

I recently got a g923 and have it set up on a table with a chair. I’ve played both forza and assetto. In Forza I can barely control the car from spinning and in assetto the traction control doesn’t allow me to spin easily. I’m not nearly as fast as the AI though mostly because I don’t know how to brake good with the pedals I have.

I am mostly disappointed with the pedals. I’m never sure of how hard to press the pedal and this leads me to braking way too early.

I’m wondering if I got a simulation rig and better equipment if I’d be more into it. I really thought I’d enjoy sim racing but so far I’m not that impressed.

Anyone have the same issue?
