Hey everyone, sorry to bother you with this, but I'm a small indie dev, and I’d love to make my game fully compatible with the Steam Deck.

The problem? I don’t own a Steam Deck to test it myself.

Would anyone be interested in helping me out by testing the game? I’d just need to know if everything runs smoothly.

Ideally, I’d also need a short video of the game running on the Steam Deck—filmed with your phone, not a screen capture—just to check that everything looks good and there are no unexpected issues.

If you’re willing to help, that would be seriously awesome! Thanks a ton! 😊

I have my steam deck for like a year now and I still handle it like a newborn. I wonder if I'm the only one doing that

Had the Deck for a total 2 hours before I tripped over a skateboard and landed face first. I'm ok though, the deck helped cushion the blow as that's what I landed on.

No scratches or dents. Not even a scuff on the case. Thanks Valve for quality products!

Original Title: PSA. If your game stops working on Heroic Game Launcher, there's probably new terms and conditions to agree to for the associated store. Log into Epic/GOG/whatever on another device, accept the terms, games start working again.

Frustrating but a number of my games suddenly would not work. Playing them in desktop mode revealed a wall of text with a mention of privacy policy. Sure enough, logging into the Epic Store on my phone revealed an update to the terms and conditions that I had to agree to in order to get into the store. I agreed to that and the games all work on the Steam Deck again with no action required on the deck itself.

I've found that I really love a good turn based RPG on the Steam Deck over most other kinds of games.

Previously Enjoyed Games: Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, and I'm just starting FF12. Which I know isn't turn based but..

Preferred Genres: Turn Based, JRPG, RPG.

Budget: Any!

Other Notes: I'm find with playable games especially if its just 'text is small' but I'd like it to be able to run well on the SD. I've heard good things about Baldurs Gate 3 but worried it won't run super well on the steam deck.
