Death of a Unicorn is an upcoming American black comedy monster film written and directed by Alex Scharfman. It stars Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega.

A man and his teenage daughter accidentally crash into a unicorn while they are en route to a crisis management summit with his boss Dell Leopold and Leopold's family. The Leopolds seize the unicorn, and their scientists discover that its flesh, blood, and, most of all, its horn are endowed with supernaturally curative properties, which the Leopolds seek to exploit. However, as they delve deeper into their research, they discover the deadly consequences of their actions.

The Pokémon Company are teaming up with stop-motion animation studio Aardman for a new mystery collaboration.

Billed only as a “special project,” it’s unclear whether it will be a feature film, series or something else entirely but promises that Aardman will bring “their unique style of storytelling to the Pokémon universe in brand-new adventures.”

It is set to be released in 2027.

Shōgun (FX/Hulu) leads this year’s contenders with six nominations, including Best Drama Series. Abbott Elementary (ABC), Disclaimer (Apple TV+), Hacks (HBO | Max), *The Diplomat *(Netflix), The Penguin (HBO | Max) and What We Do in the Shadows (FX) followed with four nominations each.

in the Best Animated Series race, preschool phenom Bluey (Disney+) vies against two adult-targeted super hero titles from Prime Video, Batman: Caped Crusader and Invincible, as well as long-running FOX animated sitcoms The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers, and the nostalgia-fueled superhero action adventure X-Men ’97 (Disney+).

Variety has learned that Lawrence is working on a new iteration of the series via 20th Television for the broadcast network.

According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, Lawrence will not serve as showrunner on the new “Scrubs” should the project go to series. At this time, no other deals are in place and no cast members are yet attached.

Variety also spoke with Braff in October ahead of the “Garden State” 20th anniversary concert, where the actors said he was “definitely” on board to return to “Scrubs.”

Ever since it was announced, there has been some confusion over just what Secret Level actually is. The video game-themed anthology streaming on Prime Video — helmed by Love, Death & Robots creator Tim Miller — is a collection of animated shorts, each based on a different gaming property. So there’s a Mega Man episode that explores the character’s origin and a Spelunky episode that attempts to create a metanarrative around the concept of a roguelike.

It’s an interesting idea let down by a lack of interesting ideas. The 15 shorts are almost universally dull and manage to neither make their source material seem compelling nor provide new insights for existing fans. The real confusion is who this is actually for.
