Looking forward to checking it out! This one seems to have come out of nowhere as it wasn’t on the docket of upcoming videos. Will be curious to see how they film this to avoid motion sickness because I think a POV camera would cause pretty severe motion sickness. Curious to see what they do with it!

I originally bought the AVP on launch day and used it religiously for a month, but afterwards it got a bit cumbersome to put it on every single day. Too heavy, got too hot in my office to have it on all the time, and I eventually stopped wearing it and it sat on my desk for a better part of 8 months untouched.

But recently I've been making a more concerted effort to incorporate it into my workflow, and I gotta say I have really been enjoying using it again.

I primarily use it for work purposes (connecting to my MacBook as an external display and having music playing in the background) and I forgot how magical it is to use this product.

It's becoming a more regular part of my workflow being able to switch on the fly between various monitor sizes depending on what I'm feeling that day, and the virtual backgrounds + music in the background really helps me to get in "the zone" more.

Only downside is that the Mac virtual display can get a bit laggy out of nowhere, particularly when I have more than just my Mac virtual display open. Does anyone have a fix for this? I've thought about buying the develop strap but it feels a bit ridiculous to buy a $300 accessory to fix a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place

Any other AVP users out there that have gone through seasons of using their device again after a hiatus?

Tried it today and it's running! Tried the web app workaround, but I don't think it was fully baked out like it is now. Good news boys, it's buttery smooth. I've played Cyberpunk in Nexus, but that was just ok. THIS is the game changer.

I recently found the Best Buy Envision app for Vision Pro, and it’s fantastic! The Therabody can even detect the edge of my desk and automatically fall, which is just incredible! (old.reddit.com)

When i first got my Vision Pro it was a “holy shit that was cool” moment the first time it worked. I’ve been so conditioned over the years with faceID that i have to angle my phone perfectly and make sure it sees my face and nothing is blocking it or that I am laying down a certain way. It’s become a habit that when i went to authenticate something, i do this little routine

First time Optic ID happened i was just kinda sitting there like whoa. Nothing required on my part. Just sit there and have eyes. Very cool. Wish all my devices were like that. Every time i pick up my phone and have to use Face ID i feel like a savage
