I saw a post about the Murlocs in Hallowfall being a good source of cloth so I went to check it out. There were quite a number of people there. I kid you not, within 2 minutes of being there I received a message to leave “or my whole group will report you.”

wtf?

I ended up reporting him for chat harassment with my comment being something like “Player admitted they were willing to abuse the report system by threatened to falsely report me for farming cloth. Basically told me to leave the area or they’d report me.”

I ended up farming for another 30 minutes without incident before joining my friend for some other content. But honestly I was paranoid I’d be DC’d any minute cause of how automated the report system is.

Why are people like this?

Anyone knows what will happen to those resources once season 2 starts? Do they get taken away or something. Right now I have 50+ keys on my main and it seems unfair to keep them once season 2 begins.

Also on my main I have 5 catalyst charges and that translates to full set on week one. Do these reset in the new season? If they do, I should use them to create some transmog for myself.

Again on the topic of keys - key shards and radiant echoes. Will those be taken away? If not, but keys are taken away, that is a sneaky way to get a key boost at the start of season 2.

Spatial Rift is a Void Elf active ability that launched a slow moving portal (30 yards in about 3 seconds) and could be reactivated with 6 seconds to teleport to it, to allow shenanigans such as Transcendence/Demonic Portal or even a Blink in a pinch, but with a lot of friction. Before 11.0.7, it was niche and hard to work around, so Blizzard made a change:

Spatial Rift movement speed of the rift increased by 80%, duration is increased to 8 seconds (was 6 seconds), and maximum range increased to 35 yards. The visual effect has been updated and no longer appears for party members.

After this, it's substantially more practical to use even in PvE content.

Some notes after testing:

• The rift now reaches maximum distance after 2 seconds. Therefore, it is traveling at 35yd / 2s, or 17.5 yd/s. The previous version of Spatial Rift traveled 30yd / 3s, or 10 yd/s. That only implies a 75% movement increase?
• Spatial Rift can now be better compared to Door of Shadows, since that offered up to 35yd displacement in 1.5s, but with a lot of downsides to that such as having to stay in place to cast it.
• Even if using it as a simple Blink for classes that don't have access to one, you hit the equivalent 20yds almost immediately, which has a lot of utility.
• You now have 6 seconds to use the Rift after hitting max distance, compared to the 3 seconds of the previous version, which makes it much more flexible. You can turret and cast a few abilities before taking it now.
• The rift appearance now resembles the modern Void Rift appearance from encounters such as Sarkareth and Nexus-Princess Ky'veza, with a little void droplet appearing above it. It is substantially more visible than the previous fart cloud, especially when the floor is cluttered.

Spatial Rift not strictly a reason to roll a Void Elf (for PvE anyways) but with the abundance of bad ground effects I can easily find a use for it every 3 minutes, which is more than can be said about other active racials.
