I’ve been playing WoW for a week now, and I can’t stop thinking about why I didn’t start playing it earlier. It’s my dream game—I’ve completely fallen in love with it. I can’t stop myself from playing or thinking about WoW. Every time I’m home, I’m playing WoW, and when I’m not, I’m thinking about it.

At work, I find myself wishing my shift would end so I could go home and play. When I go to bed, I think, “If only my body weren’t so weak as to need sleep, I could play WoW all night.” This game has truly driven me crazy. I can’t help but wonder how human beings could create and design such a magnificent world and story. It feels too incredible to be a product of mere human creativity—it’s as if this game was made by accident, something beyond our imagination.

I could play WoW forever. If I were to play one game for the rest of my life, it would be WoW. God, please protect WoW and keep it alive. It’s perfect—every aspect of it is perfect. Its lore, world, art design, soundtrack, story, storytelling, PvP, content, and gameplay are all extraordinary.

I hope WoW exists forever and continues to receive updates for all time. I deeply regret every single day I didn’t play WoW earlier in my life. Now, I must pay the price for those wasted, sinful days.

I started playing when I was about 14, I played as a troll and wanted a kodo mount so badly that I kept trying to walk to Thunder Bluff (not knowing there were reputation and level requirements) i didn’t know how to get there and kept failing, but I just kept trying. Never figured it out, but it’s one of those memories that stuck with me lol

What’s a moment like that for you? Something small, random or nostalgic it makes you smile every time you think about it?

I'm running out of things I want to do this season so I am thinking of making an alt. I go to the toon creation screen time and time again, and I just can't choose one I want to play. My main is a mostly-maxed out BM hunter that has been my primary since SL - close to 2k hours of playtime.

Is it crazy to make an alt that is also a hunter, just so I can enjoy the leveling experience again? Maybe I could go MM instead of BM. I love leveling but I've done almost all of the classes and I am kind of stuck in a rut.

Update: I love this community! My main is an orc BM hunter so I started a NElf MM hunter. Got to level 31 in 5 hours of play (it would've been higher but the TW queues were like 35 mins for some reason). I've never leveled cooking or leather working so I'm doing both of those too! I also started in the NElf area instead of exiles reach which I've done to death.

I'm posting this anywhere I can because I'm really happy with myself. I managed to get WoW & Curseforge on my Steam deck and think I have a good UI layout that matches my desktop layout. I also took the time to put together what I think is a solid Controller input layout that I wish I could share. I'm even happier that I was able to do it without console port. (I just wanted a challenge).

I labeled all the inputs for the Action Sets for the controller and virtual menus as well. When I play on desktop I play with a Razer Tartarus V2 Keypad so that's why action bars are 1 - = with modifier keys (Shift, CTRL, etc)

I'm an extremely casual player so I really just plan on doing simple quests/farming on the steam deck.

(was removed from other subreddit because I violated a rule 😬. Sorry!)

Its just too annoying when you do a kick and then its wasted because someone kicked 0.1 a second before you. No amount of skill can avoid that.

I think a good trade off is to give them a longer overall CD, but a much shorter CD if they don't interrupt anything. So if a kick has a 25 CD, make it 35 seconds, and if it doesn't interrupt anything, make it 10 seconds.

Edit: maybe change this only for PVP. Skills already have different uses in PVP, I dont see why this would be any different.
