Just confirmed it. Quest appears as soon as it was done.

EDIT: it's because the quest takes place in the Storm, but takes 2 minutes to finish when you do.

Today I just want to get a few words out about The War Within. I have been playing WoW since Legion on and off. When I started, I didnt even know about expansions and endgame and all that stuff. I was just leveling through elvynn forest, westfall, redridge....where we all began. In BfA I got my first character to max Level and started to understand better what WoW has to offer, but I never joined a raid or a m+ dungeon.

Dragonflight was the first expansion where I went into a normal pug raid and tried to clear Vault. I had a good time. My friends were never really interested in WoW and I couldnt seem to get them to try it out.

But then TWW released. I finally convinced my two best friends to give it a try. It was the best decision for us in a long time. We are having a pure blast this expansion. I will probably never forget the long nights, and the fun we had trying to get Heroic queen down. We probably spend +100 tries on her before we got AOTC, but it produced some of the best memories I have in my time gaming. The laughs we had when someone messed the pop up for the 5th time. The time we got her down to 2 percent and wiped. But the feeling when we finally killed her was unmatched and pure joy.

I will also never forget the countless times we tried to push m+. After weeks we finally got keystone master, and a couple weeks after we finally timed our first +10 to get a mythic track Item in the vault. The scream my friend made when it was the Ara Kara Trinket is still ringing in my head.

After all the negativity I am reading about WoW, I just wanted to share my positive experience. We love TWW and are more then excited for Undermined.

Valley of Honor, never used by anyone except RMT bots and bankalts.

Disclaimer: This is only some ideas of mine and personal opinions Don't get your Lok'Tar Ogar in a twist!

I remember the makeover we got in Cata, it was HUGE! And then when they finally fixed the front gate, it felt good, life was good. However in the recent years, since I'd say at least Legion, maybe earlier? Orgrimmar has never been a hub you visit to, despite having FIVE bankers and auctioneers, one in Valley of Strength, one in Valley of Honor, one in Valley of Wisdom and two by the Embassy and Valley of Spirits.

And honestly the problem is that it does not feel like a Horde capital, it still feel like an orc capital with some afterthought areas for the allied races, hell Goblin used to have a corner where the embassy stood and now they have a corner the size of the Vulperas.

Then its the matter to give every Horde race their own space rather than taking up whatever space that is not used by anything else, like Houjin Pandaren having an proper space rather than just a tent in the middle of Valley of Honor, looking like grifters.

Stormwind does need this too actually. Currently all the allied racers, just like in Org are by the Embassy looking awfully bored.

Another flavor I would add to both embassies are Ambassadors from different neutral factions and an ambassador from the opposite faction, to add some flavors to the embassy itself.

Should we have a docksite like in Stormwind?

Yes but only if the zeppelin towers to the various areas: STV, Tirisfal Glades, Thunder Bluff, Nothrend and Dragon Isles all have their zepp towers and some travel by boat to Darkspear Isle and / or Zandalar + Kul Tiras.

"What about that ugly gate to the west bordering Southfury River?"

Personally I would just remove it and make an cul-de-sac but if the gate would be redesigned for HD, I would like to see some upgrading on the outside to, like a proper road to Ashenvale / Northern Barrens.

Thank you for reading this lengthy post and have a happy new year!

Just wanted to make people aware of an awesome tool myself and a fellow completionist worked on.

With over 14,000+ lines of waypoints, guides and data that enables you to track your progress for all "Farewell to Arms" (BFA Meta-Achievement) related achievements and objectives - all in one place.

  1. Click the Mini-map Icon to open the UI
  1. Easily see which achievements are not completed & your current progress on them
  2. See which achievements need which faction to be completed
  3. Read the attached guides to each achievement and objective (in the tooltips by hovering over them)
  4. Right click the objective to set a TomTom waypoint (if applicable) to any relevant locations.
  5. Profit?

I would love your feedback on this if you encounter any issues or have any requests!

If you have any performance issues (FPS Drops), for now try search achievements or bare with the odd performance drops when viewing the massive list of achievements. Let me know if you have any suggestions on how you think the list of all BFA achievements should be displayed (to prevent performance issues).

We also plan to add a Filter and other quality of life features soon.

And finally we will be doing the same treatment for all other meta achievements in due time, once we have a few more QoL fixes implemented.

The timed nature of M+ means it's really difficult to ever stop and read things mid-key. If you wipe on a big trash pull, even with logs it can be hard to parse exactly what mechanic got missed or was mis-handled.

It cannot be that dramatic a use of resources to have someone at Blizzard sit down and type out the abilities for each bit of trash in the dungeon, or even just the ones with anything more complicated than "melees and sometimes casts a single-target damage ability".

Original Title: Was doing old Scholomance/Naxx unlocks and noticed this update to the Empowered Argent Dawn Commission buff after I got it and went back to Stratholme. It got a change with Classic Timewalking to give more Scourgestones per boss kill. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere so wanted to share.

Took nearly the whole event length, but I got not only the Bronze Celebration gear (T2 upgrades, etc.), vendor mogs, but also every mog from the BRD raid (87 in all!) and every Timely Tourist mog (54 of them.) Yes, I'm aware that the BRD ones are the same as the ones in the original BRD, but these are new Item IDs... so that's all the excuse I need.

I started by farming the weekly boxes on 12 toons (2 each - the world boss one and the Chromie one, those two were the fastest), then stated doing LFR on classes that had better drop opportunities for what I still needed. I tried to beg for people's unwanted drops, which worked a little - but annoyingly, a majority of the drops are Warbound and cannot be traded. Ultimately, with about ~25 patterns to go I just started chaining as much LFR as I could for keysets to buy the remaining mogs. Once the number of keysets I had equaled the missing patterns, then I just stopped and bought out the rest.

Chromie was a different issue because I had to rely on the boxes. But, I realized that there are two different loot boxes: The Level 80 version has a Warbound 571 item, pulled from the entire table of 58 items. But the Leveling Box (pre-80) has a soulbound item specifically for your class: one of the 8 armor set items, 2 cloaks, or neck, or 3 rings - or a weapon that your class can actually use (not just equip), and does not regard current or selected spec.

I also noticed that:

  • Level 80 characters get the Warbound box for both the weekly, and each Codex run.
  • Level 70-79 characters get the Warbound box for the weekly, but the Leveling box each run.
  • Level 69 and under get the Leveling box for both weekly and each run.

So, I started chain-creating toons so that I could get two boxes each run (Weekly + reg.), paying attention to which class gave me the best chance for the items I had left. For example, the final 5 items I needed were the Agility staff, Bow, Agility Mace, Offhand, and 2H Axe. Monk is the only class that can loot 3 of those, so I started there and quickly the Mace dropped. After that, I did Hunter and got the Bow. Since I still needed the Staff, I went to Druid (both Monk and Druid could drop Staff/Offhand, but Druid has one less drop in their table since they cannot drop the 1H Agi Mace). The Offhand dropped next, so back to Hunter to get the Staff (one less drop than Druids), then finally DK to get the Axe. (Full Disclaimer: For the final 3, I used two accounts on two computers to party two lowbies and get four loot boxes per run!)

Oh, and this whole mess gave me over 55K Time badges and ~1030 extra tokens which will be another 20K badges.

Sorry for all the writing, but I wanted to share my success - and for newer players out there, a view into the mind of a completist farmer. Enjoy!

All The Things addon gives the counts.
