A Community for Dungeon Meshi a.k.a. Delicious in Dungeon.

The first season of the anime adaptation can be found on Netflix. Season 2 is confirmed and presumably currently in production.

Do not discuss events or characters from manga chapters past #52, without clearly marking as spoilers

This is so that the anime watchers can sub to the community without worry of seeing posts that would spoil later parts of the story. This includes manga pages and panels, mentioning characters, fanart, etc.

A very, very early rendition of the story and characters.

Izu is in the party from the get-go, and the gang cooks up a mimic, though in a very different manner to what we saw in the final story.

This is the first of a weekly manga post, to tide us over until season two starts airing. I hope you join in on reading a weekly manga chapter!

This seems to be set right before they encounter the Red Dragon. In the final story, they haven't even met Shuro yet at this point.

I like how the entire gang does hungry eyes at the realisation of there being Mimic to cook. In this version, everyone's inhibitions are long gone.

Izu ends up working sort of like a reader self-insert, asking questions the reader would be asking.
