This is why theorists talk about “systems” of oppression. People were murdered, homes and businesses were destroyed, and there was and is no legal pathway to addressing individually.
Meanwhile, the descendants of the massacring whites live on top of wealth and power gained via the massacre.
It's called white washing and unfortunately old white people have been doing it for decades.
