Plex has been enshittifying hard the last few years. I recommend trying out jellyfin if you haven't in awhile.
Is love to switch to Jellyfin, but Plex has apps on all the devices I want and Jellyfin doesn't.
Which devices doesn't jellyfin have apps for? Seems like a pretty well developed ecosystem to me.
My TV is the main one. It has a native Plex app that works well, saving me from having to purchase some additional device. There's no Jellyfin app for it.
I mainly use my Xbox to stream from Plex. Has the jellyfin app gotten better for Xbox? I really want to switch to jellyfin but the Xbox app is/was ass.
I'm sure it has, but my friends host their mediaservers there so I'll be wherever they are.
