Decided to go in to work today so I can give myself an early finish to go shopping. Someone had just freshly hit massive deer, easily a 400kg male (the deer not the person who hit it) poor thing.

I always thought that hitting a deer or moose is something only seen in Canada. TIL.

On another note, I've never seen a deer in my 8 years in Melbourne. But I've seen deer in Indonesia.

They are a big issue up in the hills! We also see a lot of other hit wildlife, sadly a lot of wombats too.

They’re an invasive species, added by people who wanted to hunt them and surprise surprise we now have an issue.
