Steam reviews and community discussions have become a cesspool of incel rage.
I am not sure I have ever seen a "community discussion" in my >15 years on steam. Where are those hidden?
The "Community" tab on a game in your library or the store page, I forget which. It's usually filled with guides, art, highlights, and a heavy dose of shiposting (often in the form of fake guides). Have not encountered posts OP is referring to, but I don't really go on there much.
