As long as I live I will never fully comprehend it. There should have been a line of honest and wise men a mile long standing behind Cheney on Thursday. But their cowardice, their venality, their shameful abdication of responsibility only served to make this moment in Ripon more powerful.

Trump probably has dirt on all the men from the Epstein days and they don't dare do anything against him.

That's certainly possible, but I think they're afraid of Trump and the Trump base. Whenever a Republican goes against Trump, he calls them out and his base picks up the message and goes on the attack. Not only are their rivals in primaries supported, they're also threatened with violence. And, unsurprisingly, even when they're on the receiving end of Trump's ire, they will still vote for him:

They'll call everyone else a radical leftist Marxist, yet they'll never reflect 'Did we shift too far to the right?' It's such that, I believe, a copy of Ronald Reagan would be labeled a communist by the current Republican party.

They'd definitely call him an antisemite for giving Israel a blank check to bomb Lebanon.

Reagan actually came down hard on Israel. I don't like basically anything the ghoul did, but I have to give him credit on that one. Israel started to pull some shit, and he shut that down within days.
