If you watched a video of this event you could see emotion in the faces of both Harris and Cheney when they talked about democracy. Especially Cheney. The pained look on her face when the word "democracy" was mentioned nearly choked me up. I don't agree with any policy of Cheney. AND THAT IS OKAY. Cheney does not agree on any policy of Harris. AND THAT IS OKAY. Harris does not agree on any policy of Cheney. AND THAT IS OKAY. Because this is NOT an ordinary election of Dems vs GOP. Thinking of it that way plays into Trump's hands. This is a unique event in American history of Democracy vs Fascism. The only thing that Bernie Sanders, Harris, and Cheney all agree on is America's core values of democracy, freedom, and the rule of law. AND THAT IS ENOUGH.
