Really, the big-timing of anyone should be a red flag. And I'm sure people are pretty cool who haven't built filesystems yet. I've never met Linus but I really appreciate his gatekeeping.

The guy's not playing well, like the systemd kids, and it's totally okay to not have it in mainline.
