Oh! These sound like our sovereign citizens. They basically insist that they have found "one weird trick" to make it so they don't have to follow US law. Then when they break the law, they insist that the courts have no jurisdiction because of some mumbo jumbo with fringes on the flag and maritime law. It is a mix of amusing and annoying.
