Just got it today so I haven't had much time to play with it yet. But feel free to ask me anything about it and I'll answer when I can. The model I got has the non-touch 100% sRGB 400 nits display.

can you show us xaos running with the most ridiculous settings?
Not familiar with xaos but I can certainly try. I downloaded it but don't know what what settings I would need to change. Let me know the exact settings and I'll test it.
autorotate, pallete emulator, color cycling, motion blur, autopilot, antialias, and I guess a high iteration count. any algorithm
I'm getting between 60-100fps at 1000x1000 resolution:

I should clarify that with the autopilot setting on, it only zooms out so as you can see in the screenshot the drawing doesn't fill the entire window. When I disable autopilot and zoom in manually it can go as low as 20 fps.
20 is still impressive. find some drugs and have a nice night!!!
