There's an incorrect, or at least misleading detail in the article. Most reality shows won't be affected by the actor strike, but they will be affected (eventually) by the writer strike. If the show has elements like challenges, these are typically the work of WGA writers and have been halted. That said, they could have written this months (or even years) ago, so the impact may not be obvious for a while
