Pretty sure once he crosses state lines it's federal. I could be mistaken though.
You'd likely be correct. there are also a host of firearm laws at the federal level. the use of a fake id also has federal implications.
sadly the other commentor is just a twit who thinks everyone who dislikes the democrats and refuses to vote for either party is somehow more misinformed than they are and are to blame for their preferred candidates loss, and iirc that individual was also one of the losers carrying water defending israel's genocide during the campaign. pretty disgusting all around. 🤷
