Yeah, maggies can become very friendly even if you don't feed them often. Although I'm in general against feeding wildlife, I do make exceptions for things that need a bit of coaxing to form a basic rapport with and stop yourself from getting attacked
I've been trying to kick up a bit of activity around here, too, it'll be nice to have a posting partner! A little bit of a recommendation, if you're open to it: people sometimes get annoyed if you post too much in one community too quickly (even if they don't outwardly say it). I try to keep to 1 post a day per community I post in, to avoid overwhelming anyone (we are only little after all, your posts will almost certainly all show up on everybody's feed)
I'm sure melbcat will be alright. In fact, you too. You're doing well. Stay strong, and don't hesitate to call that vet if you need peace of mind or clarity on something!
Yeah lol it began as protection money.
Ok ok, cheers for the tip. I figured more Lemmy activity would be welcome as long as it was an ok quality post, but I can see how one person could overwhelm a small less active instance.
She should be ok, sheβs a tough girl and if anything happens I am still able to get her to emergency by myself using the pram.
