Does Starlink not need ground stations? This is from 2 months ago and they are indeed still needed.

The ground stations are essential for linking the satellite network to terrestrial internet infrastructure

So it is really not viable on the ocean etc. etc. and pretty much a better cellular network in terms of coverage.

I'm pretty sure they offer a more expensive option for offshore use. Maybe that one doesn't need ground stations?
